Always extremely appreciate the realness and showing you're not perfect. Getting better by learning from mistakes is key. Look into OneStroke ELT series inks for opacity. We love them.

Sick with the transfer tape. Had a guy show something similar just by using clear tape 😎 watching your videos keeps me motivated to get a manual of my own ! Great video Lee 🏆🏆🏆

Your clamp/spreader idea on the side of the screen frame is greatness. I'm stealing that one. Oh, and I do use your LS Sig Squeeg w/ 80 and 90 dur material with a push stroke. Great for clearing thicker inks. And Ryonet DOES need to make you a "MINI" version in a 6-8". Good stuff bro! Keep it up!

Yo Lee, I’ve used clear packing tape as my clear film for base layer registrations like that. Every shop has packing tape, it’s also way cheaper, and a thinner material so you’re closer to the base you’re lining up too as well. Ol Florida Print Shop tricks 💪🏼

Great vid as always! I used Wilflex Super Flourescent Yellow (230) on a Quick White (160) base not too long ago and was surprised by the opacity, looked great. Might be worth looking into if you ever need that colour again.

Saw your branding labels. What printing platform do you use? I currently use DTF, it is starting to be tedious cause we operate with Apple and Epson has to perform two individual prints to achieve the DTF print. On a windows the rip software has been updated to achieve this in one print job.

I printed with the Vivid Neon Green last week. It was 3 shirts so I didn’t make an underbase. I had to flash 3 times and put down 4 hits using a 156 thin thread screen. Definitely using an underbase next time

You made me feel bad about using films to register my screens lol. To be honest I usually nail it first try using my films. I might give this registration technique shot to see how it works out.

Films can't account for screen tension, that's the only problem with it to me.

I was surprised to hear about stencil drag! I think there are only a handful of videos on youtube that cover this "problem". It can be a real nightmare when dealing with inks of different viscosities on the same print... I print automotive parts where I have to be 0.1mm accurate and all of them are backlit so there is no room for error. stencil drag is one of the biggest problems in my screen printing art

Is it okay that I’m registering my first screen to the film taped on the pallet? And then using your method of clear vinyl transfer tape. Or is there a better method that doesn’t involve a PRU system?

There's no need to register your first screen at all. Line it up straight to your pallet tape lines and away you go 👍🏻

Try heating the pallettape before removing. We do a couple of rounds of preheat and in a removing the tape is a breeze.

No matter how many times you hit a transparent ink, it will remain transparent. Plus it's highly inefficient and creates an unnecessary thick print
