Yes! Any situation where there is a lot of tiny white particles that are visible against a dark background can be remedied with this technique!

Well... yeah, it might work if you can tolerate completely re-rendering the jacket, and it doesn't change too much. This technique is pretty easy to do though. Generative Fill might be needed for more complicated repairs.
