Last day of our trip to the most Northern parts of Norway. The day started out slow until my friend René came across a big pit filled with relics, left behind by the German during World War 2. Like opening a time capsule, these 'dump pits' never get bored. Many awesome things came out like a German WWII motorcycle license plate, personal items, a dog tag and much more!
Big thank you to @Garrett_metaldetectors to send me out a prototype Vortex to try out. What a great detector! Loved swinging that thing around!

FAQ:
-Do you report things found to the authorities?
Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities.
-Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or check out my Patron's website. I share finds with my Patrons (check the Patreon website for more details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm Iron Mike not Google Mike..)
-Can I come with you?
No.
-Do you love me?
Yes I do!
-Will you marry me?
No, lets just be friends.
-I want to see more!
Go check out the social media pages, or consider becoming a Patron! Patrons have access to much more, special videos, behind the scenes footage and WW2 goodie boxes containing relics me and my friends found over the years.

The Garrett Ace Apex, AT Max and the Garrett Vortex.

Go Pro 7, Go Pro 10 and a Sony handy cam
