This game is getting me through self-quarantine. Thank-you Decision Games for printing; thanks John Butterfield for the amazing solo game system.

You deserve a big hand(no pun intended) for this review/How to Play. Great job sir! I watch a lot of play throughs of different games and you do a tremendous job of discussing the rules, without going into tangents or off subject. Subscribed and will watch more of your videos.

Think one counter is a squadron size. Not a single plane.

Thanks for a great review. Really helped in getting through my first rounds of the game.

Thank you soooooooooooo much for this video! The game was a bit overwhelming until I found your video, it all makes sense now.

Dude... Thanks for the video... you did a great job in terms of explaining the game. That being said... this game makes AH's "B-17, Queen of the Skies" look way easy.

I have played D-day, but traded away my copy a while back. Need to pick up another now that they are reprinting.

Man, this was an excellent overview! May be your best review to date. I have this game and now am going to give this game a try. I was intimidated by it, but your video helped me with understanding the game much more than trying to do it alone. Do you have plans on doing D-Day on Omaha Beach?

Just purchased DDaOB... Would LOVE a play through of it before I crack the box open :)

Of course, but the counter itself says "Me 109" because this game is from the Allies' perspective and the Allied forces often referred to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 as the "Me 109".

thanks for the review, and just bought the game. What other 10/10 solo war games do you recommend? I prefer medium to heavy games, thanks !

I really like John H. Butterfield's designs, particularly D-Day at Omaha Beach

This seems hard to find. Worth trying though, I'd love a solitare game with both sides when they have very different goals. Good review with helpfull tips. You should get some online store to sponsor you, where I live the local reviweer is well nice but amateur on wargames compared to you.

DG is reprinting it (i think it is out now, or very soon) so it should be easier to find soon. I used to have a sponsor but they went out of business :( I'll have to try to find a new one.

You didn't talk about the German solo or 2-player games. How do they hold up?
@clawlan11 жыл бұрын
no, i traded it away in anticipation of the reprint :)

Good review, but your German needs some help: Luftwaffe is pronounced "looft-wauhf-uh" not "looft-wauhf" Luftflotte is pronounched "looft-flauht-uh" not "looft-float" When will you be posting an RAF: Eagle episode?
@stephenlyons6046 жыл бұрын
Luftflotte 2 and 3 were air fleets of the Luftwaffe, used in the Battle of Britain.
