It shoots out air intended to go into facet joint to restore motion in the joint. In an absolute sense, the amount of force it puts out is rather low. Nowhere near as forceful as the human hand. However, it is faster than the human hand, and given that speed divided by the tiny contact area it goes over, it is a decent amount of pressure. So for that, I wouldn't put it over say your eyeball. It is a great tool for restoring motion in let's say the neck or back of an older patient who can't tolerate a traditional adjustment. Hope that helps.
