I love your channel, I lived in Chiang Mai for 12 years, did the village life, learnt the language, with a northern accent😁, had 18 muay thai fights too, had to come back to England after getting knicked with 20 grams of weed in 2014 before it was legal, did some prison time, great fun😭 I really miss it over there so love watching your content, always wishing you and the family the of luck for everything 🙏❤

Hello Ryan. I watched this again today, 8-24-2024. I wanted to thank you for helping me live out my dreams vicariously through your many vlog. Due to my age and health I will never be able to live my dream. You were one of the first people I came across when I was considering trying to move to Thailand. I just wanted to say a simple thank you, and I'm sure there's many people who enjoy your vlogs as much as I do. Take care

Hi this is my first time posting on here. But I have followed you guys from the start and also your other channel, you guys should be very proud of how far you have come in such a short time,, I have a little house about a hour out of Burriram in a little village. I’m back in Australia 🇦🇺 taking care of my dad who is 91 years young. I show him your farm from time to time and he loves what you are doing.. I watch your channel because I’m homesick for my little house, when you’re riding around the farm or in town I hear the birds and listen to the language and see the wonderful people of rural Thailand 🇹🇭 going about their live When it’s hot 🥵 I feel the heat when you go to the markets I can taste the food 🍲. So I would like to thank you and your wonderful family for keeping me connected to the place I also call home. And for giving me another way to explain to Dad how live is in rural Thailand 🇹🇭. So thanks again Regards Sam and Matt 🙏🙏

It would definitely be hard to be away from your wife and child for that amount of time. At least while going through that you still had the love from your wife and child not like in the west where a woman can decide on a whim that she no longer cares for you and takes your child and leaves then shackes up with someone else and starts telling your child it's OK to call the new guy daddy. I am so happy to see in your videos the love and commitment that you have for each other. I was always amazed at otitis hair, the amount of hair and how wavy and curly it was and then poor little Hugo coming on scene sporting more of a look like his daddy. Congratulations on your successful journey to this point I hope it keeps getting better for you guys.

Wow so emotional and raw 😢❤ i cried so much during this one. I was watching videos just as you came back to Thailand and didn't realise you were stuck in the UK away from your family. It must have been so hard to get to know eachother again and adjust, but it's testamont to yours and Damo's relationship and your beautiful souls ❤️ I laughed watching the handmade shower.. i absolutely loved it and has inspiried me so much to live like that - so simple.. however, i had the memory of Damo not liking the window you built and could never understand that haha! I've watched a few vloggers but have never been so invested and passionate as i am watching you all. I wish you only success, health, wealth and happiness. Genuinely would be a dream to meet you all oneday too - i want Damo to teach me how to make coconut sticky rice 😊 love your rants, honesty, tips, insights, raw thoughts, family life, farm life, traditional events.. keep going.. cant wait to see the new project (new house/bnb) come together in the future 🙏 love and light to you all ❤️✨ P.s more singing Ryan on videos to end credits - literally feel "high" listening to you!

Wow so astonished that it's already 4 years watching your vlog. I remember when I started following you in the quarantine time in Bangkok and I was sitting in Germany, dreaming of a possible future in Thailand. So much happened since that time and I followed each of your steps and I'm so happy to hear how you and your family are still doing well there. Of course my life stepped forward too and now it's 3 and a half year that I learned to know my love of my life and she's from Philippines. Never thought this would happen but life goes it's own ways. So it's just two days and I'll return to Manila to meet her again and of course - as each time - when I fly through the skies high over your place, I'll send all the best to you and all the others. Your success is my hope for a future life in Philippines and step by step I'll get there. All the best for you all, stay safe and be blessed Martin

@lifeinruralthailand thank you both, Ryan and Damo for a short summary of this part of your lives together. As I only discovered your channel 3 weeks ago while looking for something different to learn more about life in Thailand, I decided to start viewing your vlogs from about 18 months ago, otherwise, I thought, it would take too long to catch up to your new vlogs. It's a shame that you haven't done Thai subtitles, though I saw you did do a small number. If there were Thai subtitles, I might have suggested to my Thai ladyfriend watch also, as we contemplate life together in Thailand in the near future
