You concluded disappointingly after a rather thorough and unbiased analysis of the data. Your final conclusion was effectively that left wing violence is more justifiable because you agree with its moral precepts. Had you been an American conservative, or perhaps Chinese, you would agree more with collectivist hierarchical cultures. No political violence is justified, no moral position grants one the use of extra-legal or violent action to achieve political goals. Breaking the taboo of political violence only validates its use by others, causing an escalation spiral. Left and Right-wing violence are the same, because the use of one instigates the other.

I mean, yeah, that's how believing in things works. The difference is fundamentally in the aims of violence. By saying "nuh uh, they're the same." You're completely ignoring the purpose of violence and revolutionary action. There IS a difference between fighting to defend the rights of workers and minorities, and violence to defend the oppression of those groups. There are many moral positions that justify violent action to achieve political goals. Such as emancipation, John Brown violently killing slave owners to free slaves is a morally justifiable form of violence, as is the United States fighting Nazis to free Jewish people from the holocaust. And these violent actions are politically left wing. You should read MLK's letter from Birmingham jail, which talks about the white moderate's obsession with order over justice. Justice is not the legal application of violence by the state, it is the enactment of ethical processes to help those harmed and marginalized. Sometimes, this requires violence, because otherwise nothing happens. Ending the holocaust required violence, so either you are pro emancipatory actions or you can sit atop your fence of "violence is always wrong" and watch as people around you suffer the same violence you condemn because you refuse to act against it.
