I can relate to the woman who fought for her husband military benefits. I am a combat veteran and it happened to me. I was diagnosed with depression in the military. It took me 6 years to get approved. Which is why I made my switch. I suffered three evictions. When Trump appointed a new director over the VA, I got approved with back pay. I am now a homeowner, paid in full with no property taxes. President Trump made that happen for my family. I now help other veterans fight for their benefits.

The best thing you can do for black people is treat us like everyone else. We don't need to be singled out or given any special treatment. Instead of talking about racism all the time we need to acknowledge that we are all just people and try to understand each other. I need to respond when you need help and you need to respond if I need help. Why? Because no matter whatever else we are, we are country men and women. Fellow citizens in the best country to live in that has ever existed. Our country has not always done everything right. We have made mistakes along the way, but we get better every time we make the effort to bind ourselves in common causes. Let’s stamp out what is wrong and build up what is right. If we don’t agree let’s put aside ego and step outside the box to find a new solution together.
