Excellent point. If the left really believed their ideas were true and convincing, then they would welcome honest comparison with other viewpoints. Instead they've gone all in for political censorship and "cancellation" and regularly try to shut down other opinions and slander anyone who disagrees with them. It's so incredibly rare at this point for the left to legitimately discuss different arguments, evidence, and results. Instead they slander those with other opinions and take down straw man arguments, while trying to keep their opponents' actual viewpoints from ever being heard--and they do this with the backing of most media, social media, schools, universities, and large corporations, using typical methods of oppression.

I don’t know. Maybe she is just power hungry and ignoring it. Obviously every First Lady likes being First Lady. But we can’t know the full story with her yet. It’s very difficult being married to someone who is finally losing it, and we don’t see their interactions behind closed doors. People don’t normally have control over their senile spouses, especially when they’re stubborn, and even more so when he’s still lucid ‘enough’ some of the time and also happens to be president of what’s still the world’s only superpower and a whole party’s main current hope. Until he decides otherwise she has a duty to support her husband’s decisions when pressed publicly (as would a husband the other way).
