About 6 decades ago it was still a source of pride to display our flag in tribute to men and women who gave their lives or sustained dreadful injury in the name of our country. Doesn’t matter if you agreed with the idea of our country getting involved in a particular war. It is the courage and selflessness of our troops that we celebrate.
