Thank you for speaking the true history of what happened. I also appreciate that you mentioned the mohawks were cannabalistic and that Squanto's own native people enslaved him. People love to gloss over the fact Native Americans wiped 90% of each other out long before the pilgrims came with and as carriers of viruses and bacteria the Americas hadn't experienced before. My great-great grandmother was full-blooded (what became known as the White Mountain) Apache and another of my great-great's was a daughter of Geronimo from an illegitimate mistress, and the Apaches were a very brutal people toward even other Apache tribes. After Christian reforming began, the tribes mellowed out of course; my maternal grandmother and her father both grew up on Apache reservations, and my grandma's dad moved from one tribal land to another with no problems when he was a young man. Had he tried that before Christian reform started, he likely would have been killed. While it's heartbreaking to hear of all the death that happened to the original natives, without knowing the true history, all those deaths are in vain, and the peace between them (even temporary) means nothing. The least we can do is honor their memories and what they fought for with the truth.

Fellow Mayflower descendant here, 2 saints one stranger. Francis Cooke, George Soule, and Richard Warren. One of the things lefties wouldn't understand because, well most aren't that intelligent. But, when the Pilgrims arrived the political landscape in New England was every bit as complex as anything you might find in Europe. The Wampanoag Confedercy, under the leadership of Massasoit, had been paying tribute to the more powerful and aggressive Narragansett. Massasoit saw the English and believed that if he could form an alliance with them it would shift the balance of power in the region in his favor. He was right. Massasoit became the most powerful Sachem in the region, the alliance he formed with the Pilgrims lasted his entire life and was violated by neither side. It wasn't until after the deaths of Massasoit and his eldest son Alexander that enmity grew between the Indians and the settlers.
