When I told a family member (who's a woman) that I was trans masculine they asked some questions about it and I answered them all because I knew that they were a good ally to be at least sorta open about it with, but then they told me not to get top surgery because she got a mastectomy for breast cancer and it was horrible for her. I never said that I was gonna get one, and like... top surgery and a mastectomy are actually two different procedures in which a top surgery takes out less tissue, but it wasn't really something I could say in the moment yk :P

Whenever I hear the red-tailed hawk call used for bald eagles it makes me so mad Bald eagles don’t screech!! They sound like a mix of songbirds and seagulls. Idk if you are able to do this, but things that helped me when I broke one of my feet and had a cast. 1. Hopping on one foot to get up stairs/army crawling if you have the strength to do either 2. Using scarves to make pockets on your crutches (if you have them) 3. Elevating my foot on a pillow for a few hours, with ice or something frozen (with a towel barrier) 20 min on and 20 min off. Hope this helps!

My mother and I both likely have long covid. I got it after me first time getting it last ear around Christmas. My mom is so disabled her work lied about her so that they could fire her and not pay her severance. I may not be able to hold down a job due to it. Long COVID has been compared to pots which I also likely have had my entire life. It has made my symptoms so much worse. Due to my mom being jobless, we now don't have enough money to go to the doctor to get treatment and diagnosis for any of our chronic illnesses

Dude the fear I have in my heart over Covid, my mom refuses to let me mask and I live in Montana like it’s not to much here but it’s scary. I don’t need more lung problems I have asthma I’m a singer, my life revolves around my lungs and I’m already chronically fatigued, I can’t get long Covid I can’t. I don’t want to hurt the people around me, they’re already disabled. I can’t hurt them like that.

Due to my disability i’m unable to wear a mask (at least the masks that i have access to)(it makes me actually unable to breathe) but just because i can’t mask doesn’t mean that if you can you don’t need to! take covid seriously & keep yourself & others safe.
