We have one predominant alter for social events/activities/scenarios or potentially overstimulating things (like going to school & driving, and even then they usually don't front the whole time during those, just most of it) because they have more social experience than the others and it produces a sort of feedback loop. Is that what you are talking about? since we've seen multiple other systems with something similar. That alter usually isn't very active other times though since they need to rest up after. We all have our role and distinctions. Just one of us is more socially capable than the others so usually fronts then. Sorry we are just trying to figure out system stuff still since we are fairly new to it.

Another thing about the invisible illness vid is that other people can have this odd entitlement to you presenting "normal". Like if you look how you feel or are completely honest about what's going on then you're seen as a downer, ruining the vibes, or attention seeking. So, because relationships are important, you have to seem so much better than you feel whenever you're interacting with other people. @@Deneriax It's fun and when someone relates to a character, it can feel good to say "I see so much of myself in you, so I'm going to headcanon you as asthmatic and asexual." The first example to come to my mind is Robbie Rotten. People with sensory issues like to headcanon him with sensory issues because his main gripe about people not being lazy in Lazytown is that they're too loud. It doesn't _have_ to be that deep and I highly doubt Magnus was thinking about stuff like that when turning Robbie into a children's show villain instead of a theatrical one. However, it makes people happy to see themselves reflected in characters they like. And if they are already seeing themselves in a character, why not tack on some extra things like gender and sexuality? They aren't supported by canon, but they also don't go against canon. And if they do? It's fiction so who really cares? Hope that helped you understand why people headcanon such things.

I bought the coolest trunk yesterday at my favourite thirft shop. The lady who owns it always lets me have free stuff because I donate, so I thought why not spend fifty bucks? It's got hand painted flowery stuff on it and it's pretty big. At first I thought against getting the trunk, but I knew at any other thrift shop around me it would've been likely triple the price or more. And honestly it's my favourite thrift shop so I want to support it. Since it's so big it's motivated me to clean my room in ways I haven't before. It's also gonna _help_ my room stay cleaned because a major part of why my room is constantly dirty is that all my art stuff is in here (cuz I do my art in here) and I have more art supplies than I have storage. But I'm so confident all my art stuff will fit in this trunk. I love it so much. It is a bit broken, you gotta be careful when opening the lid. Off it's hinges and the wood is broken where the hinges should go. My dad said it can be fixed but I don't know. Really, the only thing for me is that I wanna know how old it is. My honest guess is the 1920's, but I am nowhere near an expert on that stuff. Just merely a vampire.

@@IlianaS-im2hx hi! another diagnosed adhder here. self diagnosis is valid and often a step towards official diagnosis!! in addition to helping people get very necessary accommodations, self-diagnosis is an option for people who either don't have the funds to pursue an official diagnosis, don't want to get diagnosed because they're at risk of ableism (i have a friend who would be kicked out of the house if she was diagnosed with anything, for example), or simply don't have the means. self diagnosis comes with months and sometimes years of research, and op didn't even say it was self diagnosing. an official diagnosis confirms the condition, it doesn't create it.

Issue is, I don't think I want it to be my first name, as its not the most common and I feel like I want something more idk professional for my first name if that makes sense?
