I don't get clean vox hate at all. If it sounds good, it sounds good. Its not like there isn't enough deathcore with only screaming. I like only screaming deathcore as well but there's so many kind of deathcore I don't like. Electronic and symphonic deathcore is my thing, usually.

I think why clean vocals in deathcore or in metal in general are so hated is because (music theory terms incoming) Most of these bands go from a low tuned 4/4 breakdown or verse that sounds angry and aggressive to a major chord 2/2 rhythm chorus that sounds happy, upbeat and out of place and it throws you off. The context for the clean vox in the structure of the song has to make sense. (Ex of bands that do it well) currents, as I lay dying, bleed from within, shadow of intent, silent planet This song isn’t the worst offender, but it does go to the poppy sounding 2/2 chorus rhythm. Especially later in the song. Still dig it though.
