Think about it, The Originals drank a serum bound with the Doppelgänger’s blood, so Hope wasn’t just born with vampire blood in her system, She was also born with the Original serum in her system, thus she is an Original.

Hope is an Original and not at the same time. The original term refers to vampires and hybrids, created through the spell of immortality, ie vampires and original hybrids. Already Hope she was born was not transformed by this spell. However, she is basically an original equivalent, mainly because she is the first of her kind and has basically the same powers.

@@marwanali4878 nope.. Like every spell there's the basics.. Thanks to Divina Claire we know that sore bonds can be broken. It's not gonna be that difficult. And Lizzie can do a very good sneak attack.. Thanks to perfect gemini cloaking.. "Invusie" spell was a heretic special. And a sleep spell works on a witch too. Even if Hope can overwhelm the spell Lizzie can subdue her long enough to siphon her to the point of desiccation. The weakness of being a vampire.

@@Kevynmorgan Lizzies sneak attack would work on a normal vampire but the thing is hope is half wolf, she has heightened senses, she'd smell her, just as they did when Ethan would become invisible. Siphon can only siphon a certain amount of energy, regardless of that even if Lizzie tries to Siphon Hope then she can just as easily use a spell to deflect her

Technically she's one 3rd original vampire but we knew that before episode 11 from when she compelled that triad vampire in the bar, but she's not an original vampire as in 1000+ years old and first of a sire line more so her vampirism side is equivalent in power to an original giving her all there abilities and since she was not made immortal by the white oak tree nature had to make a loophole and that's why red oak is the only thing that can kill her and not white oak

@@user-qx1xq3vu4z ohh but see with hope I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t be able to have kids (if she doesn’t take the cure) because her witch and wolf sides died when she turned so she wouldn’t be able to have kids with supernaturals like werewolves or witches. And klaus was able to have kids because he was turned into a vamp before he activated his wolf curse so that part of him was alive when he activated it. But with hope her wolf and witch sides are dead.

she's an Original in her own right, basically. Like Marcel is and Lucien and Alaric were, they are unbound vampires (or hybrid/tribrid) who start their own sirelines. Marcel was able to compel Elijah (because he was superior to him due to the level of his power if I remember right) and Alaric could compel normal vampires like Elena.

Why is lizzie going around killing so freely? i was thinking, she isn't like that it's so out of character because her humanity is on. Yet hopes is off so we see a different side to her so it's confusing seeing lizzie so willing to shed blood when she freaks out about hurting any human being, unless she is threatened but even then she doesn't kill them. She backs them away or hurts them but not gruesomely murders them, this is expected of Hope no humanity but Lizzie despite being sired. Sometimes the show makes no sense, but it's cool I guess.

Ever since Alaric fell into a coma, Lizzie changed. After the therapy box, she accepted the dark side of herself. I mean, she wanted to kill Hope earlier on, brutally staking her hand before losing her nerves. Let's remember this: in season 2, Lizzie hated the thought of being a vampire and broke up with Sabastian for trying to turn her into one. In season 4, she finally accepted that she could be dark as she technically always was and to me, she's kind of stronger this way. I mean, only a dark minded person would drink vampire blood as a last resort. She was willing to become a vampire if anything happened, knowing the consequences. Then, Hope kills her and she becomes a Heretic(known as the most powerful and brutal vampires they are). I definitely expected her to have such wicked tendency.... Besides, these vampires killed an innocent's girl's sister. Lizzie was channeling her anger to do this with Hope. Technically, if Hope did not save her, she would have died as well. I'm thinking that broke every from of restraint she had left.

I know it seems out of character and on some level it is. But, in this scene she's still lost without Josie and she was trying to prove herself worthy of Hope keeping the sire bond active. Plus, finding that they'd killed Luna's sister (which would trigger the memory of loss for Lizzie) and knowing there wouldn't be a way to just talk them out of what they'd been doing or hold them captive, Lizzie would have felt this was the right thing to do.
