The Originals was my favorite vampire show of all time. Definitely the earlier seasons. Legacies never appealed to me. To be honest I don't even know whats going on in this scene. But I had to check out this scene because the crew was back together.

@@jaya5064 I know how you feel. The only thing that I like about Legacies is the TVDU concept of vampires, witches and werewolves. The fact that the stars are Lizzie and Hope (that are both from TVD and TO). I loved that the twins where together and I'm kinda sad that Josie is gone now but all the monsters and all the charachers in between are very boring... Rafael Landon Cleo Kaleb Jed MG... Sadly some of them are still alive since s1. No one really dies so there's never any consequences in what they are doing... Hope kill Malivore and Landon but he is still having a storyline (useless as most of his storylines) and he will most likely to come back soon.

This whole episode made me miss the Mikaelsons and The Originals so much!! Also I’m glad that it was Hopes family to turn her Humanity back on. This whole episode is just so tear inducing and the fact that it’s Klaus’s funeral is so heartbreaking but I’m glad they are together. I'm so satisfied with this episode! it was very nostalgic to see the michaelsons reunite. Honestly I'm glad that it was her family that turned her humanity back on, there's so much depth there as it all ties back to her pain of losing her parents but ultimately Niklaus.

S04E05 'I was envious when Hayley and Klaus had a miracle that is you' and S04E15 'You can coincive just like Hayley did'. She has been mentioned just as Hayley, an ordinary person... not as Hope's mother that has made sacrificed for her and raised her when Klaus just was abseent in her life. Because Klaus absences wasn't really his fault. She also bonded a lot with him and still has HIS family. (And Hayley has been mentioned granted not as much as Klaus). Also, Hope struggles a lot with the fact that her father did a lot of evil things and its looked on by most as evil but she loves him despite it and he loved her & was good to her. She struggles with her similarities to him and the capability of that darkness. She loves her mother but it isnt as complicated a dynamic at all. She also is constantly reminded of her father in everything from being at the school he mainly funded, to being around his family etc. Hayley was killed yes but Klaus literally died for Hope. She was dying and he took the death for her. Thats a lot to deal with and a lot of guilt. As well as mentioned before how with all that her father has done she worried that he way not have found peace and since he died for her a part of her feels very guilty. She was also cheated from a lot of time with her father when he was alive through no fault of his own. So it makes sense that her longing for him and wishing they had more time may appear stronger than for her mother. Plus the fact that the originals was mainly about their family/him.

This is what happened in this clip: Hope returns with Marcel. Rebekah and Freya have prepared a meal, having hoped that she's return. Hope doesn't plan to stay for dinner, believing that Vincent will lift the spell keeping her here. She's just come to say goodbye. Rebekah makes a face, revealing that he's told a story to Hope. As Freya sets an extra plate, Kol arrives just in time. Hope quips that he's late and she's tired of not being surprised. Regardless, he's happy to come to see his favorite niece because they need her help. Kol explains that they're trying to decide where to spread her father's ashes and they're bickering about what to do. The only solution they could agree upon was to leave it up to her. Hope accepts and immediately suggests tossing them in the garbage can, though Marcel deducts ten points. She doesn't care about his game and questions why this decision is up to her. Freya tells her that Kol speaks the truth. They don't know what to do without her. Likewise, Kol tells her that Klaus would have wanted it this way. Hope doesn't but Rebekah questions why she remains. Hope believes it's because Vincent's holding her hostage with the astral projection spell. However, Marcel explains that he's only anchoring the spell to New Orleans and she could have left anytime she wanted. Hope doesn't understand why she can't leave, but Freya tells her that it's because she doesn't really want to, at least not all of her. Rebekah advises that perhaps if she answered their question earnestly, then she'll be able to leave. Sitting down at the table, she takes a moment and gives her answer. Although it's a bit selfish, she knows that her father saw the entire world and New Orleans was his home. Before that was Mystic Falls and he built a school for her. If it was up to her, she'd want him with her so that she could find the perfect spot. That way, he could always be near. In the trees or on the breeze. Looking around to one another, Kol declares this is how it will be. Kol mentions that Davina was gutted when she couldn't come and suggests they could pay a visit, while Freya tells her that it will give them all an excuse to visit her more. They tell her they love her, always and forever. Hope questions if it worked because she's still here, though her humanity appears behind her as she's come to join her.

When Hope talks about what she would do with the ashes... oh man 😥 "... that way he can always be near; in the tress or in the breeze". Also, I don't understand why ppl are so confused why she seems "more" affected by Klaus' death than Hayley's. Hayley has been mentioned a few times (maybe not by name but shes been mentioned/referred to) in this show. However, Hope is a bit more at peace with Hayley's death than with Klaus'. On one of the last episodes of The Originals, she saw Hayley and learned that Hayley is at peace and happy and forgives her. However, Hope (as mentioned in earlier episodes in Legacies) struggles with Klaus' death mainly because she doesn't know if he has found peace or will be able to. Then she learned he won't until she does. Also, while Hayley died at Greta's hand (and took that moment to take Greta with her to protect Hope) Hayley was basically killed by Greta. Klaus sacrificed himself to save Hope. He took the darkness out of Hope and signed up to die so she can live. Its created such a guilt trip for Hope and as Hope said in The Originals she had JUST gotten Klaus back. They've been distanced for years at no choice of their own. First Marcel held him for 5 years and then due to the Hollow split up between the 4 siblings to save Hope, they had to stay away from her for 7 years. In The Originals we learned that she also grew up at the school not being able to say that she was a Mikaelson for her own safety. She mentioned in that show how he hears them talk about Klaus and her family, and cant say anything and it will make her so mad (she even shows a book there that calls Klaus the Great Evil) The students didn't know she was a Mikaelson so in the beginning of Legacies is pretty recent when she is truly living as her true identity. Theres so many complexities with her dad. Imagine loving someone that everyone near you grew up hating or fearing because of stories they've heard about them and those same ppl not knowing all your life that that person was actually your father. Or wanting your father your whole life but he couldn't be near and then finally you get him and he soon has to die to save you. But because of all the things he did and all ppl say about him, you dont know if he is at peace or in a fate worse than death all alone. Plus now everyone knows who she is and warns her against her anger and kinda fears it just because of who her father is. She was robbed of so much time away from him while he was alive.. so yeah I think it makes perfect sense that her grieving is so complex and so much guilt and different feelings surrounding Klaus' death over Hayley's.

Me too. Hayley's name has been mentioned just twice in the show. Both times by Rebekah in this season of Legacies. S04E05 'I was envious when Hayley and Klaus had a miracle that is you' and S04E15 'You can coincive just like Hayley did'. She has been mentioned just as Hayley, an ordinary person... not as Hope's mother that has made sacrificed for her and raised her when Klaus just was abseent in her life. His missing was the reason why Hope kidnapped her to get his attention. Remember the time jump? Yeah... He wasn't there for Hope in both 5 years and 7 years time jump.
