Me and my mom has had a rocky road with them. We watched the first three seasons. I stopped watching Season 4 because Elena was spending more time with Damon. I came back again to watch Elena's goodbye episode with my mom at the end of Season Six. When I found out it was ending, we watched all of the final season together, except for the last 2 or 3 episodes. That year The CW and ABC got taken off for a month and a half over here, but we finished it online. My mom is a fan of The Originals. I wasn't, but she told me how their final season is showing the school from TVD that will also be in Legacies, so I've started watching their final episodes. I'm 25

I think it's obvious that Klaus and Caroline are together probably at the end of TO 5x13. Julie pretty much spoiled it when she said that Caroline will be "absent from [Legacies] for mysterious reasons." To be honest, I'm not sure how Julie is gonna end it TO, but I don't know why I get the feeling Klaroline will be off enjoying life somewhere, and Elijah stays behind with Hope (maybe be a mentor at the school for a bit). Elijah constantly needs to maintain an orderly appearance, establishes limits/rules upon himself to maintain a "good" moral compass, and has a habit of wanting to educate others. He would make a good teacher just as how he educated Marcel when he was young.

Anas Ali I’m always biased towards Damon. I fell for his character in the first season, and for me delena was the ship for me. Maybe that’s why I was really disappointed at the end. There was something diff. About the their chemistry but Ik something was still there so I was more let down in the writing than the acting. But yes I agree maybe because Paul never dated Nina in real life it would have been better acting, but overall the characters Elena and Damon for me were perfect for each other so I would always look past the acting.

I think a better ending for The Originals would then be, at the start of this new series, showing the darkness leave Klaus and Elijah as Klaus finds that unconditional love and redemption, and through his completely changed character and goodness, he essentially vanquishes the darkness. That way, he's still alive in the universe, but JP's original TO ending isn't tarnished and still ambiguous. Then Joseph Morgan can just occasionally feature as a guest star on this show in some "Claroline" moments and father daughter moments to keep the fandom happy.

Matthew Davis character Alaric is the MOST boring character on both shows and will they bring Marcel over to legacy, since he did save hope from being killed when she was a baby in season 1 of originals.
