This show had so much potential to be as good as (if not, even better than) vampire diaries, but they kept missing so many opportunities to the story. Just ask me how I would've saved the show, and I will gladly tell

@legacies_hope7556 for starters, they showed that rafael is a descendant of King arthur, I would've made an entire story arc on that. And give the sword excalibur some magical properties that only work for people with Arthur's bloodline Another, I would've found a way for my boy landon to gain his phoenix powers back with extra. Cause phoenixes are known for having super strength, healing abilities, pyrokinesis, etc. And they would've really come in handy when everyone faced against the gods Finally, the show started with hope, landon, and rafael. So it should've ended with all three. I would've made a whole prophecy saying, " The only one to defeat the malice of evil (malivore) is the beacon of all three factions (Hope), along with a worthy king (Rafael), and an eternal flame (Landon)". That would've made a whole Trinity storyline centered on hope, landon, and rafael.

First thing I think when hearing about all those student vampires is, where do they get them from? Most vampires are way too old to be in school, and they don't really have children, this means that to find students, they would need to locate very recent vampires, ehich seems... Unlikely. Like, an old older vampire is going around, turning teenagers into vampires and than sending them to school? Did those kid have the full mystic falls experience of their daddy vampire going around murdering people for fun with impunity? It is just kind of odd treating vampires like they do humans, vampires don't age and don't breed, outside of odd cases, I don't expect any such students should come up.

The last season should’ve been how the first season was. The problem is that the vampire diaries and the originals were made for young to full adults and those are the people who kept up with those shows. When legacies came around and we noticed that this show was pretty childish a lot of us gave up of it (I didn’t) because I could see the potential but as usual when a show finally starts to get one, it gets cancel. Plus all of the OG of the old shows were gone which suck ass!

I think they should've focused more on the supernatural highschool plot then the "monster of the week" theme. Overall the malivore concept wasn't bad, I liked the amnesia aspect of it but that plot DRAGGED ON FOR 4 SEASONS. It should've been done at most halfway through season 2. There were so many characters introduced that could've had better subplots and character arcs but they were wasted/cut short (I'm looking at you dark josie, rafael, sebastian, clarke). I actually enjoyed the first 2 seasons but then the show got boring and repetitive. Also, why did every main/supporting cast die at some point just to be resurrected. Atp it's customary to die then come back to be considered a main character. Now in my opinion, I was not the biggest fan of Landon (she should've pulled an elena tbh) but the amount of time he died then lived again was insane. Like bro just stay dead or stay alive. Some of the wacky themes such as the Star Wars, red riding hood, trapped in an 80s video game episodes were fun to watch and still could be worked into the show if they stuck to a highschool plot. They could've said the characters were tripped up on magical shrooms, needed to research for a history project, experimenting for a science fair. Idk but to me I think the show writers forgot these were highschool kids who lowkey did not have to face death every episode. Thank you for reading my rant lol. TLDR: show had wasted potential (esp the characters), malivore did not have to be that long, these characters are highschool kids

This was the most amazing show ever, sure it could do better, but i love how they brought back half the cast of vampire diaries and ..... originals which is not a real huge fan but it's ok. The last episode made me cry, showing how Alaric left, and Caroline who actually finally appeared in the show took over..... Love this show. I'm happy Jeremy came back but I really was hoping Bonnie would make a return as seen she is a very powerful which. The one thing that did confuse me also was Elena's house was actually rebuilt which in my opinion should have been long gone. But it still made me happy. Wish Nina made a return though as Elena or Katherine or, the idea of Katherine being mentioned because a lot happened because of her. But over all love this show, second next to vampire diaries.

This show is not better than the originals. It is so bad and unrealistic. They completely took away the promise of "always and forever" leaving hope all alone it literally seems that her family only came ONCE TO SEE HER js to get her humanity back, have a funeral for her father FORGETTING elijah died wi klaus aswell den they go on ab they business. The show is hella repetitive. They forgot ab hayley and the way people could just resurrect they shoulda just allowed her to bring her father back. honestly think they should have just made her like klaus just way worse. Also i forgot to say: they always talked ab hope being a 'mythical tribrid' in TO just for her to actually BECOME the tribrid on the last season??? very stupid

Could have been so much more. The series tried to copy X Men during its first season which might have worked if they stuck with just Vampires, Werewoles, and witches. Adding a bunch of BS mythological creatures just turned this into a cheap knock off and worse version of Supernatural. CW shows always suffer from power crep and with each season having to introduce stronger villians makes it kind of boring. Show would be fine if it kept the X Men knock off delivery with down to earth villians that are menacing in a way that challenged the characters. ( E.G. Kai Parker who wasnt super powerful just a psychotic syphianing witch and is argubally the best villian aside frm Klausnin TVD. Marcel in Season 1 of The Originials who wasnt more powerful than the original family but was still envied by Klaus which led to a great dynamic that season. And the first few seaons of TVD with the shady founding family, introduction to Katherine, werewolves, and then the reveal to Klaus.)

Yes, it started out pretty good (S1 for a younger crowd anyway) but became more woke and more gay the farther into the series you went, that is what the real focus was on. There were a few shows where they broke out in song and dance as if it was a theatrical stage performance but it was so cringe I had to drop out around season 3 a few episodes in and just caught highlights the rest of the way through but even those were hard to watch.
