My inner child is losing his mind. I remember my massive collection of 93 kenner Jurassic Park figures. Id be in heaven if I was a kid today. Mattel is doing a great job. Your channel has really taken me back.

The one thing I would do to the Dieter Stark figure is by giving him a FAL rifle from Marauders to serve as a stand in for the HK91 rifle he used since Marauders haven't made any specific guns seen the Jurassic Park movies.

Yes those Marauders accessories are good. Not sure what the cost would be shipped to the UK.

@@JurassicRod sad news, Marauders Gun Runners can't ship anything to the UK and if purchased from the UK, Marauders will cancel it and refund the people from the UK. So you might need to reach out to someone from the U.S. to help out as that's what KZbinr Jurassic Collectibles had to do.

Good review, bro! Yes, The Lost World Characters are coming along, and I agree with you about Carter needing a character! Maybe he'll come in a Doe vs "Carter as a shoe" set, lol! The Mercedes Unimog truck is a welcomed addition to our growing InGen Hunters vehicles. There were four used for the movie, but only three were unique as one was a stunt vehicle that ultimately wasn't trashed. One was shown airlifted by the helicopter thru Ian's binoculars. Next was shown driving along with a 4-seat cab, with a bunch of hunters in the back, standing up (completely unsafe, by the way), and then this one with a cage was made but also in the concept art too. 100% agree with you on having working winches. What is up with that? We have some uber cheap Adventure Force and Bass Pro Shops vehicles that all come with working winches and clear headlights (sometimes clear brake lights), comes with a figure, sometimes a dinosaur or dartlike, and are typically $15 to $20. This vehicle retails for $35, and also comes with figure and dinosaur, so it's strange. They did a great job on sculpt and paint for Dieter Stark, that is for sure. Although, I appreciate the Compies, I wish we had gotten the standing up Destruct-A-Saur Compsognathus, included, since it's not been reissued as of yet. If anything is missing from Dieter, it's his backpack with shoulder-mounted flood lights, and his rifle. Albeit, the backpack was what was left behind with Carter, and his rifle we can find from a GI Joe or Marauders Inc set. The Raptor is an odd conclusion, but I'm sure Mattel's marketing shows that if you include a Raptor, that vehicle or set sells. Unless it's from Dominion, since the Velociraptors had no film presence aside from Blue and Beta. The Atrociraptors don't count, and their sets typically pegwarmed. Which is why we still have so many Sonya and Ghost sets at my local Target stores, even on clearance. I'm sure I'll see them at Ross or Ollie's, lol. I think with Kelly, Nick, Eddie, Peter, Ajay, and Carter, would do well to complete the main and secondary characters for sure. However, I'd want Dr. Burke, his buddy the Ingen Veterinarian, the InGen Hunter with the safari hat in the long grass that the Raptor leaps upon, and the InGen Hunter on the Hummer "Snagger" vehicle that tranqs the Pachycephalosaurus, and a Dirtbike Driver, would fill out a complete TLW set. Keep up the good work, bro.

It would have been nice to get the pack and gun with Dieter, same with Roland too but they don't seem to give the humans that many accessories. Maybe if we get them in the Hammond Collection. I wondered if Chaos Theory might boost the Atrociraptors popularity as in Dominion they made little impression on me but I really liked them in Chaos Theory. I'd like a load of the more generic background hunters from lost world but in the UK at least the human figures don't seem to be very popular so don't get released here now, even with vehicles.

@@JurassicRod Sorry ahead of time, longgggg post incoming. 😳 I had kind of hoped Owen would've gotten his rifle in the Hammond Collection, then each Raptor would get their Raptor Cams. If we have to buy 4 Owens for 4 Raptor Cams... I'm gonna freak. 😂 I think a Hammond Collection Roland would come with his gun, however, a lot of Toy Companies, at least here in the US, try not to market guns and stuff to kids because of political issues and Helicopter Parents. Not really due to any law, particularly at this small scale, but you can see that Hasbro has no issues when offering guns with their GI joe military figures. Yet, it is a reason why Hasbro does not call Nerf "guns, they just call them Nerf or Nothin' and they mostly all look fictional. That's kind of why it was shock that Muldoon has gotten his shotgun each time he has been released, except in the 6-inch Amber Collection. Worth Owen comes with a "utility tool" inside of calling it a knife, haha! The issue isn't Mattel's distribution though, as the Legacy Collection is a Target exclusive, as they paid a little more for the tooling on the items offered for that exclusivity, or all intents and purposes. In those countries without a Target, like Japan, Canada, and the UK, their "customer" are the host e-tailers or retailers that want to pay more cost in shipping to them, then distribute on their own. That is what causes a lot of confusion on how and why some get and others don't. For example, Battle Damage/Extreme Damage/Epic Attack are Walmart Exclusive lines in the USA, but overseas that is not the case. In addition, if a company, like let's say Entertainment Earth, buys those lines from another distributer than Walmart, then that is how they get those exclusive lines and either mark them up or make less profit on them to draw more customers to them. Anyway, it'd be great to have more Lost World Legacy sets. Maybe a Hunter's Camp Setup with some Hunters and Peter Ludlow? Big cages to hold Gallimimuses and Pachycephalosaurs. Eddie Carr should have come with the Mercedes Ground Tracker instead of another Malcolm. Maybe they are saving him for a Hammond Collection SDCC set where he can be torn apart? Imagine if they did Human and Dino Pack sets like they did for Dominion, i.e., Peter Ludlow (Suit version) and Baby Rex with a removable cast, like they released before. Nick Van Owen with Nikon Camera and Bolt Cutters with Baby Mamenchisaurus (echoing his Series II Kenner figure but also Maybe a Hunter's Camp cage for it?), Kelly Malcolm with Frying Pan she had in the trailer (from Kitchen set) with as much paint app for a Tiger Raptor as the Dominion Raptor that came with Ian Malcolm Dominion set. Dr. Burke could come in the 3rd Jeep or in a two pack with a Pachycephalosaurus and Hunter's Camp cage. Then a Carter (Bike suit) with Bike and a smaller Parasaurolophus (in Lost World colors) with Hunter's Camp cage, then Eddie Carr with Baby Triceratops with Hunter's Camp cage. Ian Malcolm (because we need more of him, right?) with a Pteranodon (in Lost World colors and maybe some kind of Hunter's camp cage or net launcher setup?). Have Peter Ludlow (Safari outfit) with Roland's Jeep (to balance out that Roland came with Dieter's Jeep, haha) and a Pachycephalosaurus and (Possible Classic 93 style) snare(s). Have a Licensed GMC Hummer with Ajay Siddhu and another Tiger Raptor but maybe with the Female Green Coloring we saw at the Worker Village, and Hunter's Camp cage. Then a Habitat Defender sized Triceratops with Hunter's Camp Cage, and a Stegosaurus with one as well. Lots of great stuff could come from The Lost World. Man, then give us the Trailer, right? Maybe Eddie will be in that set? Haha!

Yes it appears very briefly in the background a couple of times. I'd never noticed it till they released this and I went back and looked hard to see it

I found it on ebay but it was double the price these vehicles usually cost in the UK. But sadly the only way to get hold of it. Seems Smyths aren't stocking vehicles anymore. I guess they didn't sell so well.

@@JurassicRod I live in The Netherlands and Smyths only seems to stock half of the Legacy items. I am still after this set that you reviewed, Omar Sy's character from JW and the Raptor Containment Pack. The vehicles seem to sell out pretty quickly.

Don't you think it's weird how few villain figures there are? Dieter and Roland here are good, but Mattel have so far ONLY done "miniboss" villains, like them. Rainn, Soyona, Wheatley, Nedry. No Ludlow, no Dodgson, no Mills, and none of the CC/CT villains so far.

@@JurassicRod I want her as a figure sooo bad. Somebody pointed out that you could make a convincing custom of her by repainting the villain from Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Irina Spalko, but of course it wouldn't be as good as the real thing.

Also, not to spam you, but on your thing about playsets- do you know what I find baffling they haven't released? FENCES! I would legit buy packs of electric fencing in this scale.

Me too! I'd like to get more of the vintage fence pieces but they're quite expensive. The schleich one's are quite good though.
