Question for Andre. There were a handful, maybe 2-3 civilian type Mercedes bullnose trucks cream in colour at The Bluff. Always in immaculate condition with brown canvas seile. Were these vehicles unique to 1 Recce and do you perhaps know their history?

When will you release the video about the pathfinders. My uncle was a pathfinder and never claimed to be a recce. But according to him they could do exactly what the Recces did and operated in small groups behind enemy lines…

In Natal we used to call it the rock slide. A bit rude, sorry vaalies! I remember all the vaalies coming down, then there's just one shark attack and they all drive home as fast as possible as if the sharks are chasing them all the way up the N3. Ou dae.

A mate of mine was an int loot in 1 recce he said to me once he could not sleep at night because the recces were always playing silly buggers
