Such a pleasure to watch this video. Uncle Glenn was the best! He was a modern day man of God. He made everyone feel special! And, yes, he definitely enjoyed his steak (nearly) raw. 😊 ❤

Glenn was an encourager and so supportive of young people. I enjoyed his Sunday School Class in High School and knew he really cared and wanted the best for us. Before going on a summer mission trip in College, I shared my plans with the congregation. I didn't have a lot to share and kind of stumbled over my words, but clearly remember looking over the pulpit and seeing Glenn in his usual pew on the right side with a huge smile, cheering me on.

So sweet. Says a lot about him and what we can all learn from him!

You asked us to share thoughts about legacy. My immediate first thought was that the people I love will always know that I did my best to show that to them. Then, this morning these words were right there for me to read. Not my words but exactly what I believe a legacy is: "Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come." Henri Nouwen My hope is that the words of Henri Nouwen encourage another person's heart today. ❤

Thank you so much for sharing this, Cynthia! That's a perfect quote and extension to exactly what we're talking about! Our prayer is that others experience God's love through you and us today and all days.
