A match of this magnitude would be exactly what boxing needs right now. We have two boxers of whom are still young and in their primes. Both also have the proper distinction of being named the P4P best fighters in the world.
In fact, Manny Pacquiao was the successor to Floyd Mayweather's throne after Mayweather retired over the summer this year. This is one of the rare moments where a match up of this caliber goes far beyond namesake and actually circles around the very real talent that is still fresh within both of these fighters. There is no way that this match would be ignored by the general public.
This fight at this point in time could truly be one of the most lucrative matches ever made. While there is no belt at stake, the thought of two popular, Hall of Fame fighters whom are still in their primes meeting in the ring has money written all over it.

As much as Im a big floyd fan i have to protect manny as a boxing fan. Prime manny knocked out every fighter floyd has fought and even fought margarito that people are saying that floyd ducked. Pacquiao has a world title. Floyds resume looks shit compared to his. A manny fan will always win when you talk boxing achievements. To be an all time great, there's always a scar. No boxer has ever been more hated around the world than floyd.
