Thank you. I know it comes off as cunty. But I still think the voice cast in this series really nailed it and hearing Templeton does bother me, as it takes away from the exceptional work all of the cast did, on top of the original dev team.

This collection is a must own for all hardcore fans of the series. Gotta make sure the sales figures are there for them to deem making one last game worthwhile.

The games voice acting alone is worth the entry price of buying the game. Then there's the combat / puzzle and platform element to the gameplay, the story and the general bad-assness of being a reaver of souls. Epic.

probably Ray-Zile He has masters in linguistics I think, so he technically pronounced it as it SHOULD be. But if that's not how it's pronounced in game then I suppose he felt it right to re record it with the in-game pronunciation

I bought and played Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 remasters only because before these remasters I've never even heard about Soul Reaver games so this is my first experience of Soul Reaver 1 & 2 I've played a little and gotta say this game is surprisilly good game defienitily story, voice acting and gameplay are amazing, but I can't say my review yet because it's too early. Is it possible to see 3, 4 & 5 remasters too if this selling well? 25 years old game older than I am Soul Reaver 1 & 2: You are my Soul Reaver!

This is an entirely new review and any similarity to any other reviews is just a case of you misremembering things, hence why it this video is titled Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver Country Returns HD review. I didnt have an N64 as a kid. But when i finally played ocarina, the hindsight went to me that soul reaver is just an edgy ocarina of time.

Alex's irritation with Soul Reaver 2 is understandable. The game unfortunately pushes a little too hard into locking in the narrative, and you lose a lot of the flair the original had because the exploration is just nowhere near as viable due to locking off areas as the story progresses (because Time Travel!). Still, I hope that this succeeds and encourages the current devs and publishers to give the series a bigger try!

Was a tad bit annoyed that this didn’t show up on the UK eshop to get that slight discount. Still be buying as I really enjoyed the series back in the ps1 and Dreamcast era.

correct, they are a team! Sometimes the voice over guys do in fact write the reviews as well. Delegating work helps them keep up with all the releases! It’s common practice, and personally I appreciate their transparency!

he gives his own thoughts at the end of the review. The main review is usually by a writer who's had a lot of time to play it and possibly complete the story etc. Whereas Alex gives his thoughts at the end after a few hours of playing it. He wouldn't be in a position to personally review it without playing it in its entirety
