Yes. The fan mode for the mastermind creations Anarchus (their Not-Kaon) is a scorpion. He has these leg type things that turn into a mini scorpion, and they split in half for storage on his arms

This review has highlighted a grave injustice that must be corrected! Back when you reviewed Earthrise/Kingdom Galvatron, you denied him an alt-mode bloosh, saying only robot mode blooshes were allowed. Given events of the '86 movie, if there is one bot who definitely warrants an alt-mode bloosh, it's Galvatron. And now you do this. We demand justice! We demand Galvatron's alt-mode be given the opportunity that is long overdue! 😜

He's mostly perfect, I just wish there was a touch more of that IDW chunk to him. I am shocked, however, that they translated almost every detail from the comic into the robot mode, and the alt mode still looks as good as it does.

Got mine yesterday and is fast becoming my favourite figure, he was one of my favourites when getting bk into transformers while reading IDW's Fantastic first run. Hasbro have knocked him out of the park, all hollow parts filled out on legs and arms, no kibble at all and just feels fantastic in hand. Well done emo on a great review

Bruh, in last 3 years there has been many figures without hollow limbs before Tarn. Siege Starscream, ER Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Kingdom Cyclonus, all the SS86 Dinobots apart from Grimlock, SS86 Kup, Hot Rod, Legacy Dragstrip, Tarantulas, I could go on....

Seeing how good Tarn came out makes me wish we could get the full Deception Justice Division as official figures, but i don't think we'll get the full DJD due to some of them having "controversial" alt modes

Oh, we’ll get them. It’s not the controversy they’re worried about. It’s the playability and functionality of the altmodes they’re worried about. An electric chair just isn’t an exciting play feature to a child. So, they’ll make “triplechangers” out of them to make those ones viable for retail.

I finally got this guy and I love save for a few things: The chestplate needlessly being made of transparent plastic The lightpiping on his head being far too small The transformation joint on his elbow being lose (on the cannon arm no less) And finally the way his shoulders work, it makes getting any decent shooting poses a pain Other than that, a perfect figure

Cool looking figure. It is without a doubt the coolest figure I've seen on KZbin. If I had a tarn, I'll add it to my collection of transformers figures. So far I have shockwave, triggerhappy so on and so forth. Either way, I'd see him in my collection

My only little gripe with this figure is that I think they should've made him a leader class. In my opinion he's a little too small, I would've preferred him to be about the size of Legacy Galvatron. If they made him leader class they also could've easily given him actual rolling wheels and maybe make it so his hands can flip in and MAYBE they could've included a little non-transforming figure of Nickel, like they did with the SS86 Dinobots. Gorgeous figure otherwise, definitely on my wishlist.

He is small because he is meant to be scaled to Siege/ER Megatron, that's why. Tarn wasn't taller than Megs in comics, and Siege Megatron is not very big, so that's a result

I like to think that his EvoFusion gimmick pays homage to his teammate Vos, considering it gives him a long rifle, and Vos converts into a sniper rifle.

I'm looking forward to getting this. I think the only thing I don't like is, from what I've seen of Tarn, those 2 arm cannons are way too far apart from each other when in robot mode. Wish there was a way to bring them a bit closer.

Dude I literally just found this today on a shelf in Target. I wasn’t even trying to look for transformers, I just wanted to make a detour. And just like with the RotB SS Optimus Prime, the moment I saw it I snatched it. I had just given up on looking for him too and was gonna wait for Bludegon (still getting him, us transformers fans will always buy remolds/colors while justifying it with “it’s a different character”)

I have straight up never heard of Tarn, at least I don't believe I have. But I never thought I'd see the day when a decepticon figure's head is literally it's own emblem. Though I could also see it as, Maybe, being a version of Megatronus Prime. I heard that the decepticon insignia is based on Megatronus' head. That'd do it.

I'm really torn between getting this now, or the inevitable Bludgeon repaint/head swap. On one hand, I was never that big on the comics, but then neither of them actually appeared in G1 material beyond the comics either, and the Tarn design at least got used for Shockwave's supersoldier drone/clones/whatever in Cyberverse. On yet another manipulator, Bludgeon's bright orange/olive/magenta color scheme tends to be rarer and more striking than yet another charcoal-and-purple 'con, so I waffle back and forth. And there's the amusement factor for having Bludgeon wield himself as a gun or whacking-stick-thing by way of the PotP version too... but I do at least have the BBCA 1-Step Bludgeon, so adding a Decepticon Super-soldier would advance the completion ratio of BBCA characters ;)

MMC Kultur is an amazing figure but has a critical flaw where the arm cannon prevents the elbow from bending. The fact that this one doesn't have that problem is an incredible accomplishment.
