My wonderful husband left this world recently at age 71. We were married for 45 years and had two wonderful children, one adopted and one we had. I miss him so much. I was holding him when he took his last breath, looking into each others' eyes and saying our bittersweet goodbyes. He was the superstar of my life. I was so lucky to have him. RIP, Gene, my love.

I feel you sweety, I lost my husband Dec 11th 2016, it's been 6 years when it feels like yesterday, .He cooked for me, he was a cook for 20 years in the navy, then a cook when he got out of the navy. Agent orange from being in Vietnam. He died for our country. I understand your and everybody's pain, it hurts so much, At the time I didnt want him to go alone. I wanted to go with him.knowing it wasn't. Possible. I pray everyday, that Jehovah has him, knowing the dead no nothing, only til we are resurrected. Cant wait to see all the loved ones that died. I worked at queens harbor country club for 12years, went through 3 chefs they all died.one right after another, first chef 35, got throat cancer, the second chef Chris Reeves, we called him superman, He was in Costa Rica in a car accident going to the airport new years eve, he died at 35, Then Phil Pellegrini, he died from serosis of the liver, he was put on life support, and later died. I got the heck out of there. It's just crazy, when you stop and think about it, everything has been planned, God knows before anyone else knows.Im sorry for everyone loss, we all will be together again forever God Bless you all.

It won't be and there is nothing wrong about that. Death is the natural end of life and is something we all must do when our time comes. The problem is society has taught us that death is a bad thing and is something we should fear and morn as a loss. That way of thinking is a backwards perception of a natural and unavoidable process. Whatever length the 2023 list ends up being it will contain more individuals who came to earth and entertained us with their talent then left when it was time for them to go as we all will do eventually. Celebrities who pass on from this life live on in the work they leave behind for future generations to enjoy so there is nothing to be sad about. Yoda told Luke that people are more than the crude matter that makes up these bodies we inhabit for a limited amount of time.

We never know what people go through or why they end things as they do, but I do wish they would try everything available to find a way out of the darkness they leads them over the edge. The loved ones they leave behind are left devastates and often guilt-ridden for not seeing what they think they should have. It’s really a very selfish and weak act for many, though the ones facing the pain of diseases that lead to horrific death do what they do to seemingly spare themselves and their loved ones.

Death is just part of the cycle of life. If you spend your life afraid, you’ll miss out on some of the most exciting times you could imagine, you’ll be alone, you’ll miss out on the joy that life brings if you focus on death. You can’t avoid death (yet.) Maybe if you focus on the beauty, the splendor and the miracle that is life, your fear of death- something that every living thing eventually faces- will not stay on your mind.

Hello Patrick, I was just reading your comment and I do have some fellow feeling for you. My mom died November 21st 2022 so just about 6 weeks ago. And I have been grieving a lot just the last week or so, I think I'm finally out of shock. Anyway; My hope is to see her again in The Resurrection that Jesus performed and proved was possible when he was on the Earth. The scriptures that give hope are (ISAIAH 26:19,; ACTS 24: 15,; JOHN 5: 28, 29,; 11:11~44,; PSALM 37: 9-11, 22, 29,34) In 2022 I also lost in death my oldest sister Debi, my uncle Leon, my ex-husband and the father of my five children, Dean. My great niece Charlie who was just 2 years old. And then additional family friends. It's been the most shocking 🥴🤢 year of my life. You would think that I would have had enough with death, to be looking at all these deaths of famous people. But I thought I would see who all went this year. Sincerely sorry for you about your Mom, it is very tough to lose a parent. My Dad died 5 years ago. Now I have two step parents left. Whom I love, but are getting old! Can you share your story about your Mom? Sincerely TAMI 🙋🏼💞😇

The death of anyone we admired/cared for is sad, but it is exceptionally tragic, IMHO, when suicide is involved, especially for anyone under 50. Yes, suicide stops whatever is going on bad one can no longer deal with, and while I cannot guarantee to live on it will get better, I can guarantee that suicide ensures it will never get better; especially for those you leave behind.

@@lazyhomebody1356 from Denise Fields Hello and how you. I would like to thank you so much for sending your comment. First of all there are some many people that are walking around with Mental health Issues. It Can be from anyone from a neighbor, best friend, co worker, Family member, someone in the health industry, or even yourself. So it can go on and on. Some people know that something is wrong, and they don't others to know because they don't want to feel ashamed. And then you have people that know something is wrong, however would never seek mental health, and they just try and live with whatever is going on. Alot of people would rather try and hide that something is going on with them because of the stigma that mental health carries today, which is so sad.. Some people say they here voices telling them to do certain things., Such as sad as it is but to some suicide is the only way out because of living in pain, sometimes the hidden secret. There are just some many types of mental illness and yes by all means you should get help for. So Lazy Homebody, if you happen to know of some who might be suffering from possible mental illness, please try to get them to get the help that they may need. Please please comment anytime, and thank you for being a listener to station.and please take care. 🌆🎶🎶🎶🎶🧩🧩🧩😎🎧🙏
