Amazing video!! Thank you for the respect paid to each person's memory. Sooo many of my childhood idols passed away last year! I was fine until I saw Tom T. Hall's name come up, and then I knew I was beat. It started with just a bit of sniffles, then came on the leaky eyes, until it had totally hijacked my heartstrings and left me melting into a warm puddle of nostalgia, by the end... Well done!!

My youngest son, Patrick Brandon Miles, passed away on September 26, 2018 at the age of 34 from an accidental overdose. He was not a celebrity but he was a beautiful soul leaving behind a young son and daughter as well as a sister, a brother, a father, myself, a grandmother, grandfather and many aunts, uncle's and more friends than I can count. The service was standing room only and you would have thought that he was someone famous and to us he was. God Bless his soul!

It’s so surreal to see so many well known faces that we enjoyed down through the years in our earth journey together. I’m 53.., and seeing this makes me think about WHAT REALLY MATTERS IN LIFE? When it’s time to die, fame, fortune, a resume, etc has zero importance.., so we should not center our lives around making unimportant things the most important things. What’s important is your character, how you treated people.., and most of all .., did you respect God, serve God, and honor God with your life? All I can think about every face.., is we’re they ready??? I firmly believe in both HEAVEN and HELL.., that the reality of both places are an eternal existence. I don’t believe every who dies gets to Rest In Peace.., or “goes to a better place!” Heaven is definitely a better place for those who make it to HEAVEN.., but everyone who dies is not going to Heaven.., I firmly believe that people who rejected God, rejected JESUS CHRIST, who were atheist, unbelievers, unrepentant, brash, harsh, unloving, unforgiving, unkind, users, abusers, etc.., do not go to Heaven when they die. All that MATTERS.., is we’re they ready for eternity at death???.., It’s not their name, accomplishments, resume, etc, that matters.., but we’re they ready??? That’s all I can think about every single face.., were they ready??? All this stuff we think is important is not .., the ONLY IMPORTANT THING .. is rather or not your business is fixed with God? When we’re gone we will be forgotten.., the real question is .., did we LIVE WELL ENOUGH HERE to live on forever in HEAVEN? Jesus is EVERYTHING.., get to truly know him.., and serve JESUS purely and seriously…, quite honestly.., it’s THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS!!!!

@Bill Chisholm well...thanks...
@joannaedwards63252 жыл бұрын
@Bill Chisholm Although the Christian explanation prior to yours is obviously heart-felt and gratingly ADAMANT, yours is closer to the REAL truth. Thousands of thousands of Near Death Experience reports from folks of many different walks of life and ALL man made religions and Atheists have all said that Our Creator is all loving and non judge mental. They have ALL said that there are ONLY TWO THINGS that are important for humans to learn. LOVE and EDUCATION. Our spiritual belief systems here on Earth HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH how humans return Home in The Afterlife. So, again, your opinion is closer to the truth. Thank you for sharing.
@joannaedwards63252 жыл бұрын
Ja Tall2 If you research NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES you might have to learn to grow on from the man made religious dogma you have just preached as The Only Truth. You will happily learn that Our Creator IS NOT INTO EXCLUSIVITY and PUNISHMENT. The ONLY judgement that so-called "sinners" must endure is what they go through while watching their own personal LIFE REVIEW movie. The only "punishment" is that they witness and FEEL EVERYTHING the people who they mistreated went through. Which ever Spiritual Entity is watching with them then guides them by asking something like, "Now can you see how you might have made different behavior choices?" Everyone who has died and gone on to their Afterlife and then revived to tell about it has said that what they believed here on Earth HAS NOTHING MUCH TO DO with reaching "Heaven". Then they tell that they were instructed that only TWO THINGS WERE IMPORTANT TO TAKE FROM LIFE ON EARTH- - - LOVE (service to others) and EDUCATION. No matter how stuck us folks are in our current LIMITING SPIRITUAL BELIEFS, when we abandon the EXCLUSIVITY and STRICT DOGMA of man- made religions we are so much happier and loving and free to really enjoy living our lives. I suggest that you ask God to let you know if what I've shared with you is real. Ask GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT to protect you and guide you into this new way of thinking. This way you will not be tempted to say that this explanation is from any source you consider to be EVIL. I wish you joy and deeper understanding as you continue on your Spiritual Path. Just fyi, my personal path began in earnest when I had my "Born Again" experience in 1970. From the very beginning I told Jesus that I couldn't swallow the exclusivity dogma of the Christian Church. I was filled with God's Holy Spirit a short time later and this Inner Loving Guidance has kept me learning more of God to this day. I am 76 and pray daily. Like the first person who replied to your share, I am not a member of any man-made religion or church. Thank you for YOUR comment and I pray that you do ask God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit to show you the way off that narrow path. The reason Jesus used some of the words and explanations he did (as not so accurately reported in the bible) was the people in those days were terribly closed minded and stubborn and needed to be focused on ridgid specifics. Ok. Done now. Thanks again for your patience.

We have a merciful God who sees all. Heaven and Hell are extremes. As a Catholic, I also believe in Purgatory, a middle ground, and one of God's great mercies. The word, Purgatory, is derived from "Purge". A purging is a cleansing and a purification. For those not damned, but not quite ready for Heaven, Purgatory makes the latter possible, once the cleansing and purification are completed. BTW, if you make it to Purgatory, YOU ARE SAVED! Good news! Not ideal -- not yet -- but you'll get there. Praise the Lord!

Robby Steinhardt left us with the immortal song " DUST IN THE WIND " which gives spiritual meaning to this tribute to people who have passed on in this video. Someday we will all walk down the road after them in the spirit of " DUST IN THE WIND ". May God guide and bless us all to the after life.

Since he was a sellout of America and worked for the globalist cabal who provided kickbacks to him......i doubt if he has a lot of peace where he is right now-

@@GenXfrom75 dont feel sorry for me. LOL!!!! Not in the slightest. I'm one of Gds chosen. Feel sorry for the lost ones. Those who are xtians and Hindus, that practice pagan idolatry and have been lied to by their own leaders. My leader is one. HASHEM AND HIS HOLY WORD. However, Gd determines who see the great resurrection and who doesnt..This whole universe depends on hinlm and his infinite mercy. Just being here, typing to you on KZbin, breathing, requires it

@@GenXfrom75 when humans die no one goes to heaven. That's where Gd resides. Many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to eternal life, others to reproaches, to everlasting abhorrence. This implies that resurrection will be followed by a day of judgment. Those judged favorably will live forever and those judged to be wicked will be punished but that judgement comes during the age of Moshiach and not a moment earlier. Isaiah 25-26

An excellent presentation. This was the year that I was most saddened by the losses of both my all-time movie favorite, Jane Powell, and Don Everly. Regrettably the Powell tribute is marred by the inclusion of a video of a blonde actress (?) who is most definitely not Jane in the second half of your tribute to her.
