Hi, FOUND a great hack. I saw that you struggle too with QTEvents when getting grabbed. I for one cannot type in AWSD finger position. BUT you can setup 2 custom hotkeys and the first will be displayed. So I setup arrow as first and AWSD as 2nd and now it shows direction but accepts AWSD

Being an ultra Alien fan, I took the gamble (after Colonial marines....) and got the Deluxe edition. 100%, NO REGRETS. Very happy with this game - while Isolation will always be the premiere Alien universe game in my heart, we also needed a game like this to live the power fantasy of being a bad ass marine. I'm so pleased with this game - it's basically what i've wanted since I played the side scrolling Aliens arcade game with my dad in the early 90's.

Your all too young. Best avp universe game was avp2 for pc. Just think multiplayer but you get to spawn in as a Facehugger and then complete the life cycle to full-grown adult and if you get enough kills you get to Molt into a queen and really lay waste to the board

Melee attacks can dislodge face huggers without doing friendly fire damage Dancing back in forth while shooting in front of teammates on higher difficulties will result in friendly fire Stay close to your team, never to far ahead. If they get into trouble you cant help them. If you get into trouble then they are at risk saving you. Always keep the technician turret between you & enemies. If you are in front of it then you take the damage instead of it. Continuing a campaign will carry over any consumables picked up in the previous mission When possible funnel enemies into narrow areas. Being attacked from all directions is bad. Do not attempt to tank damage from enemies on higher difficulties. Keep falling back until they follow you into an area you can ambush them from. Usually its best not to play the same kit as someone else on your team. Having Doc on your team is not an excuse to act like an idiot expecting him to always heal you. Cryomines are the best consumable Focus on hitting weak points when possible to save ammo & bring down enemies faster Acid based attacks happen way too often & do way too much damage. Timing is key for attacking spitters & bursters since they are the devil.

At first it seems a meeh game but it is relly good , i'm hooked and you will like it if you are a true ALIEN fan, of course it is not perfect but I'm sure they will improve it ...but maan when you hear the scanner sound and the iconic Alien weapon sound :) what do you want more ?? 9/10 RECOMENDED

I've been working my Doc up through the levels, I haven't even started the other classes as of yet. I'm really liking that class, nothing wrong with the others, I just feel all "Dietrich" at the moment. It has been fun so far. Thanks for the informative videos. The "Doc" class is broken, though, so hopefully the devs will fix it soon. The Doc's Trauma Station comes in clutch to heal your team in a radius but the Trauma Station ability can only be regenerated by picking up health kits rather than a cooldown timer. Problem is, Doc can only pick up 1 health kit at a time like the others and can't use the health kit to replenish his ability.

@@armysully huge burst buffs to team mates and you can reduce the cool down, also tons of healing. plus you get one of the strongest weapons in the game "Rifle" automatic and sniper Rifles. and pistols can be swapped into micro SMGs.

Imagine an aliens colonial marines games that was a story based,squad based tactical shooter like star wars republic commandos or halo similar to halo 5. But include the leveling up and buff of your characters and weapons. Boss battles could be random and include other fox iconic characters.

Since the game launch Lancer and Phalanx classes have been added, both are decent classes to play. Phalanx can be quite useful especially if you raise your shield because it helps alleviate some of the damage coming from in front of you, and you can use the shield to melee bash enemies, not a great long range class but quite devastating in close quarters. The only thing I hate about the game is when you get an idiot player on your team that tries to speed run through the game and gets way ahead of you causing you to get swarmed by xenos, it's called Fireteam Elite for a reason hence the key word being TEAM. Sticking together helps win the damn levels.

Idk if you're still playing, but just yesterday I encountered a guy called ggsonly4484 (I think). I was so sure I had put him on my blocklist before, because that idiot always keeps running way ahead and during the last mission he straight up just ran past our teammate who was pinned to the ground by a Prowler. There are quite a few douches still around, but a lot more great and fun people. Kinda sad they never implemented voicechat or any kind of communication for this really.

I wish they had added, "utilize chokepoints". The Spartans figured this out a long time ago, yet so many Marines want to fight hordes of Aliens on open ground. Rather than letting them come at you from all directions, force them through a single access point and crush them!

loving the game! wishlist: a crouch button, customize the skins colors of all our gear like changing the camo and stuff or being able to choose long sleeves, short, etc. making the eye lwear separate from headwear, adding a cigar in the mouth, the option to have just a moustache (trying to recreate Apone here if ya havent noticed) also the ability to let us create our own class. being able to customize each class as different characters (like Recon customized as apone, demolished customized as drake, gunner as hicks, tech as hudson, etc) an aliens (1986) dlc content

I honestly wasn't looking forward to this game since colonial marines was such a shit storm but im really enjoying the game so far, there are a few things i wish were in the game or a but differant but i cant wait to see what the developers have in store for the future. Now im about to watch Aliens for the millionth time.

One thing that has eluded me all game is where certain weak points are. The Head would be obvious, Runners, Bursters, Warriors, whatever. But Bullets visibly bounce off a Crusher's head, indicating that maybe all the damage isn't getting through. Kinda wondering where I should be shooting those bigger things. They go down fast enough, but I think they could go faster if I knew where to hit it. Especially where I don't have player team mates to back me up most of the time.

I don't have a choice but to play on Easiest difficulty myself since that you get no checkpoints. And even with that I was close to to die on the third mission. Going into the second chapter now. This game won't be a cakewalk at all but I like it! And your team AI are extremely effective at the lowest difficulty.

My main complaint about this game is the Medic/Doc class is under valued, i get people taking all the stim packs for themselves not realizing it recharges my med station, no one stands in the med station to get healed.. and there is no way to show how much you healed people at the end of the match, so sometimes during fights im healing people and not killing, and it just makes it meh.. most people also seem to just play the same class and spam grenades and flame throwers and on harder difficulty they just team kill you with splash damage.

Something they didnt say (and my friend cant hear because he uses crappy speakers) is the Hidden Cache has a loud pulsing hum. You can hear it from about 100 M, but it kind of blends into the background sounds. Once you get used to it, its very noticeable. Next time you find one, dont open it right away, listen for a few seconds and try to memorize the sound, even run around that room and see how far away you can hear it from

We already figured out the Meta in horde mode. 2 tech with flameturrets and a Demolisher with a flamethrower. If you know where on the rails to place the 2 flame turrets literally none of the regular xenos get through all you have to worry about is elites and bursters (since they splash your turret and can kill it)

I like my German MG42 with the Kawasaki AR124 parts on it, I mean Smart Gun. Highlighting enemies only works when you look down your sights on Standard mode.

If you disconnect at the beginning of the mission you also loose the challenge card. You also can't rejoin the mission in progress. I've heard some people are having problems disconnecting in the beginning of a mission. I'm going to wait to see how they handle the game breaking problems with this game.

Had a very interesting bug last night. Every "normal" alien had been replaced with the exploding type. There were 100s of exploding Aliens at once. Level 3. We didn't stand a chance.

Also, fun fact it may seem absurd, but the technician class is the actual "heavy" of the game It has an infinite ammo turret that if destroyed reloads in 15 secs , which is like a portable Smart Gun but with more damage a heavy damage magnum that can solo any enemy in less that a clip and has a "headshot tracking" feature by taping the aim+shoot a heavy damage shotgun that, modified can get up to 30% accuracy+30% effective ratio+fast reloading And the turret can be turned into a friggin flamethrower at lv.3, which can solo a whole horde if u place a Cryo grid under it and stay next to it to keep it's health up And the shock mines are a game changer against any boss, since they stun even preatorians

Disclaimer: If your going to read this then be prepared as though , for me, it's not a huge amount of comments but it is more than most will be prepared to type... With respect to this upload & the gentleman talking through this upload , to me , it wasn't making a statement of " I wish I knew sooner " with regards Alien Fireteam Elite having many issues within this one game... For me the heading makes it come across as if he played the game & then found out that it didn't play the way he thought it would & in essence all he has done is to tell you " A How To Progress in " Alien Elite Fireteam " Maybe I've taken the heading description the wrong way as it comes across as if he has found a ton of problems in the form of the many issues with playing abilities & just playing this game which has been a constant ongoing problem since the launch of the PS4 & Xbox One... Sure there were a few issues with game's on the older console's being the PS3 & Xbox 360 but those very minimal , compared to today's constant gaming problems , issues were down to the limitations of those older console's & what the Game's Developer's could deliver & even though the game's would occasionally crash the other problems were to do with framerates & how restricted those game's developer's could do for game's on those console's with regards to pop up/screen tear & all other graphical issues they had to contend... But compared to the current console's constant ongoing & never ending problem's with the game's developed for those console's after the PS3 & Xbox 360 , being the PS4 & Xbox One , I can easily say I had so much better gaming enjoyment from those older console's & as a very long time gamer I think the PS4 & Xbox One will be remembered for too many wrong reason's which I'd rather not type in as it would be too long a comment... I know this game hasn't had a lot of great reviews because of its overall in game content & though with many gamer's stating this game could've had a lot more to it in the longevity of this game , yet for what I've read in KZbin Comments is that the gamer's are enjoying it... Even though this game is basically a shot the shit out of all the various types of Alien's/Androids & Face Huggers & though it may not feel like a huge game as far as a lengthy campaign/multiple multiplayer game's to choose from along with co-op gameplay also & other game modes but , again , for all I've seen & read this game is just what the doctor ordered even in its not good as what we expected & hopefully this game's developer's will fix & add new options & better overall gameplay over time... There's a very thin line between Campaign & Co-Op with regards to most games that have more that one AI Character within games that many class as a Campaign based game that has Multiplayer Gaming along with Co-Op also but isn't that exactly what games like all the " Gears Of War " game's do when a gamer plays alone as even in those game's they were more classed as a Campaign based game with the addition of Multiplayer & Co-Op yet Alien Fireteam Elite is being touted as a Co-Op game... If you want to play alone you get AI Bots , so it's a bit of a grey area when classing a game into a very specific particular mode & though many campaign game's have co-op I still understand why this is classed as a Co-Op first & foremost & even though you can go solo but that doesn't make it a campaign based game & single player gamer's are being allowed to join in what is in essence nothing more than a run & gun 3rd Person Shooterv& not a campaign based game... You can also tell that this is basically a barebones game when you see the size of the Game Installment file size which its stating as 12.93GB but will no doubt be double (about 25G) when you add in the room for Save Files & those , hopefully , constant ongoing updates... Now as much as I am more pissed off with the PS4 & PS4 Pro & the Xbox One & Xbox One S with these ongoing update patches we unfortunately need them as there are way too many game's that are released that are definitely not 100% developed & we've put up with this in the hope that these game's developer's fix any & all issues but also add more to the game & gameplay that they couldn't have had done on its original release date... Some may take this comment as being harsh but I speak honestly & as a very long time gamer who backs & buys all console's that are released but the stance that game developer's have taken & not changed since the PS4 & Xbox One were first released which is their constant ongoing release of game's that clearly haven't been fully developed & finished properly... As they haven't bothered to hire Game's Testers or those game developer's would've known about all of the bugs & glitches as those Game's Testers would have played those game's daily & on a constant basis so they could spot any issues & inform the developers but their constant lazy fall back attitude & reply of " We'll fix it with ongoing updates " has gotten out of hand & it goes to show you they are treating their customers aka Gamer's with indifference & a lack of respect when they constantly do this... Aliens is my all time favorite movie, EVER!! After Colonial Marines, I was concerned with any new game in the universe but after playing through a few levels, yeah this is no Colonial Marines. Absolutely loving the game. It's just about what I wanted for an aliens game that mimic the amazing action of the movie and this game nails the look sound, atmosphere, feel of the movie. Is it perfect, no, but close enough as many of us have been waiting decades for an Aliens game like the movie.

Really good tips for new starters thanks for that i cant understand the reasons people criticise this game, one dude gave 2/10 because the mouths didnt move when they speak...really? Thats your main reason? Im actually having loads of fun in this game and theres so much content to unlock not to mention upcoming content every 3 months maybe new modes will be coming out, so far this game is a 8/10 because there are still some bugs that need patching, to all of you who want state of the art graphics, forget it, this game is about gameplay how all games should be mainly focused in my opinion, if playing solo technician is recommended mainly because of his turret and slowing abilities, have fun people!

Have you been opening the hidden cache in each mission? You should also be getting some upon completion. Use credit multiplier challenge cards to get even more.

Here's a dumb question. You can't pause the game. I happen to be a human who has to go to the bathroom. I'm assuming this game was made by other humans who also are familiar with the idea that humans have to go to the bathroom. Why in the world can I not pause the game? How am I supposed to drink all of my Mountain Dew Code Zero (or whatever product is supposed to tie in here) while supposedly endlessly playing this game? I literally still have not gotten through the first level because of that whole "I have to pee" thing. Am I just stupid or what is going on? True I don't remember Sigourney Weaver ever having to pee through any of the movies, but, you know. How does everyone else plan their gaming life around not having to utilize their bodily functions? Are there videos out there for specific strategies for this? Like what if we went to the movie theater and if like you have to go to the bathroom during the movie like all the main characters die and the credits immediately roll. Wouldn't that be great fun? Oh and what if I have something resembling a life outside this game? I guess I'm not supposed to have a girlfriend that ever wants to actually like talk to me while I'm playing the game. So I have to be one of those jerk boyfriends who is all like, "shut up, I'm busy." Problem solved. Somehow it just doesn't seem like an authentic macho space marine experience to have to do the peepee dance through the entire thing though.

If you go to your gun inspect page you can actually hover over the property and it tells you. Handling is ADS speed, Stability is Recoil, Accuracy is spread

@@GamerSingularity i played DOC first, just beat the game, i decided to play on the harder difficulty they let you start with instead of normal.. I feel doc is undervalued.. it doesnt heal fast enough, people take med packs for themselves.. people dont even stand in the healing station radius they just rush through the level and charge everything in sight... most people just play demolisher and thats it
