It was just like that in the first one. And if you want a more recent example, Horizon Zero Down had that kind of scenatio variation and it was all in a single map, it is beautiful and run pretty smoothly

I'm mainly excited about Arthur Morgan and the ability to wield two revolvers again. I haven't played around with twin revolvers since Red Dead Revolver and Gun. I hope we get to hear about Red Harlow's older life since Red seemed to be in early to late 20s when he killed Griffin at the end of Revolver.

I’m just taking a shot here, but I believe rockstar will have more than one playable character. If you watch these characters during the trailer you never really see Arthur or the female character ever communicate with one another and it’s never shown who exactly she is talking to. Throughout the trailer it seems as though they both have their own story lines and will eventually meet up (like how Frank, Trev, and Mike all eventually did in GTA 5).

Just throwing this out there. The scene that we see Arthur Morgan riding into the town, there is a sign that says Gunsmith Dalton. I was thinking it could be a homage to the Dalton Gang whom were bank/train robbers active in the old west during 1890-1892....could this be a hint at when the game is set?

Please stop saying the blonde girl is Abigail and the boy is John. We all know that's not true even if it may be cool. I think John will definitely be in the game, but I doubt they're gonna show him yet in these trailers. IF they show him at all before the release, I'm sure it will be really close to the release of the game. Although, the blonde girl definitely isn't Abigail, I honestly can't help but say from the whole 5 seconds of footage we saw on her, I absolutely cannot wait to see more of her, she seems like a really strong character and will end up being kind of like Bonnie except 5x more badass ;)

Abigail had black hair and she'd be younger at this time, she seems more equal to Morgan and Dutch as far as age goes. Also John was a part of their gang when he joined so there wouldn't be any need to "hire" him as he probably became Dutch's protege quite naturally.

So I just found out that Morgan is the mysterious man from the first red dead. On the last mission with the mysterious man John ask him "what are you doing here?" And he said " my accounts, I am an accountant" on this new trailer Morgan collects money from a lot of people. The mysterious man also knows a lot about john and his past. So boom! There you go!

Couple ideas i got from the trailer: 1: It looks as if there will be two playable characters. The one will be of course of Arthur Morgan, the dude that we see mostly within the trailer. The second would be of the lady that we saw within the trailer. Her snippets in the trailer give me the impression that the game will feature her own story. Furthermore, with Rockstar changing the cover text from "Red Dead Redemption 2" to "Red Dead Redemption II", it just makes sense that the two characters will be playable and have their own story. I also don't see Rockstar tracing backwards after the success of three protagonists in GTA 5. 2: The trailer seems to indicate that heists from GTA 5 will have a somewhat influence within RDRII, but rather that RDRII will feature bank robberies of some sorts with either one or more characters involved. 3: Game is obviously going to be huge. The earlier leaks of the map from a year ago seem to be legitimate in some sorts, but more details need to be officially confirmed until we can come to a conclusion about that. 4: This game looks amazing and i can't wait till Spring 2018!

Three things: Someone says: "We'll need an extra gun." Will that extra gun be Marston? Now that you mentioned it - that chick kinda does look like a young Abigail. The dude on the left of that burning antebellum mansion looks like Bill Williamson. On the multiple protagonist thing - it could be they are doing the same trick like they did during GTA V reveals. Show one playable character and then introduce others later. I personally hope they've heard the fans when it comes to multiple characters and I'm hoping Arthur is the only one.
