I do like how they made Kitana and Mileena look like actual sisters this time around. For so many years they always made Kitana far more attractive and insanely beautiful but Mileena looked nothing alike her or their mother Sindel. They really tried hard to establish the family relationship and it showed big time. Kelly Hu did an amazing job as Sindel too btw

It's true, actually the focus of this story was to see changes, and that wouldn't have happened if Kitana remained as empowered as before (not to mention that her arc of strength from before was formed from knowing the truth behind her life and of Edenia, which did not happen here). And, as Liu Kang decided to let the kingdoms form on their own without intervening in any way, I don't really see it as strange that Kitana has less prominence since she is a younger sister in this timeline

They shafted her horribly in this game - how can the one character who has fought so hard for the legacy of King Jerrod get nothing but a hug from him and he never utter a word to Kitana, NRS should be ashamed of how they nerfed one of the most central characters in their lore. She deserved so much better, but I really think they fear toxic Mileena fans...why can't they both be great, Kitana was way too passive...Titan Kitana was cool but we only got 7 minutes of her.

Actually, this happened more often people remember. Mk vs DC do not have a Kitana chapter, neither MKX. She only has in MK9 and MK11, which is a rare case because someone could though she owns more protagonist than other characters. Characters like Sonya or Jax have more chapters than her (Jax have one in every recent game, something that surprise me because no one thing deep down on it)

Nah according from the game info about edenians, they tend to age normally before they turn into a legally consent adult but once they are an adult they will age very slowly.

Titan Kitana from the "real" previous timeline coming out and getting shine at end was really kool, but too bad we didn't get more of THAT Kitana. Only like 15-20 minutes of her, and way at the end of the story. Her taking out the Kombat Kids BY HERSELF was dope, and showed her power and badassness. Hopefully the next timeline will focus on TITAN Kitana, and not this new timeline one. Hopefully the whole next game will be focused on another timeline rather than this one.
