@@4g3nt06 No as an arm does not have any organs needed like heart, lungs, kidney etc so if that is damaged he would still be killed. With creating an ice arm he can cause the ice (arm) to move etc but that is not the same as a functional organ / in other words he can not create an ice heart and have it work the same way.

Which is why i think the plotline of Snow Blind is a little contradictory, seeing how he didn't wanted to be a God or a Lord of Time but... WANTED TO BE SEEING AS "KING" IN THIS WASTELAND WORLD? Also supposedly this universe was created by the Kano who beat Kronika in MK11, but in that ending Kano didn't killed Kronika and the timeline he created was quickly erased for the regular one which he was more fond of: A regular Mercenary always chasing a impossible reward. Not one who is the King of all things waiting for a challenge to appear at his doorstep.

@@jayemel I'm guessing this is an alternate, alternate timeline. Since we see different titan versions of the same characters in MK1, it is possible that different outcomes from their transformation to titans lead to even more timelines, thus there being two titan Kanos.

Sub-Zero pretty much was up to the events of Armageddon. The *Dragon Medallion* he'd obtained between the events of Mortal Kombat 4 and Deadly Alliance had increased his cryomancy and strength several folds over. Most likely explaining why Kuai Liang was dramatically aged and gray in DA. Sure a good few years had passed since MK4 and the other characters was aged up a tad, but the younger Sub-Zero looked like he'd aged *decades* lol. And that ancient armor he obtained in Deception enhanced his already-formidable powers even further; altering his appearance to the point his skin was ghostly inhumanly pale, his hair silver white, and his yes featureless. I think the only reason Scorpion back then was on par was due to that enlightened encounter he had with Elder Gods after DA; them having empowered him to deal with the threat of Onaga. 👀

@@gjtrue I almost don't remember Deception, but Armageddon being one of my favourite games (I know, but much of it is nostalgia) I do recall him being quite... underpowered compared to what he was built up to be. Of course that the game, gameplay wise, couldn't reflect the real extension of his powers for obvious reasons (imagine actual god Liu Kang or Raiden back then), but even so...odd as fuck. I do wish they would remake mythologies in a better way and give them said powers. Imagine how amazing it would be to go through this whole saga between 4-DA, and getting the amulet, becoming a behemoth of cryogenic power, etc?

​@@gjtrueahh an og fan, like myself, well versed in pro warner brother MK lore, I stopped following the game since MKX or something, mk9 was the peak, now everything is tainted gameplay, story, lore, sad sad state of affairs really, but I guess that's the evolution of the franchise now. But I sure do miss the old mk games, unmatched atmosphere mystery and deep lore.

@@gjtrue well said, and good catch on Kuai Liangs rapid aging cause of sudden power up stress, never thought of it until now, ahh conversation made me nostalgic, playing deception with mates for the first time, all hyped up from the intro, same with Shaolin monks and all mk titles up until x, being that we grew up with the series all 3 of us tournaments in basements nerd talk about whose favorite character can beat who in a fight based of feats and powers, finding secrets in konquest mode with sujinco and exploring the realms, such good times. Never expected to see confusion on Bi Han face when Scorpion confront him because he doesnt really killed Scorpion and his son in the beginning but Quan Chi. Since instead of confused what the hell Scorpion is talking about, he immediately talk shit about Scorpion clan and that cause him his own death on MK9

@@Brandonweifu I could be wrong on this but I think Kuai Liang mentioned in MKX or MK11 or even in the original early games and comics that Bi-Han was actually against the cyber initiative of the Lin Kuei was actually a technophobe as he refused to use modern technology while on missions. As much he is devoted to his clan I think he believes in natural strength and skills, and is too arrogant to agree to be turn to a cyborg probably thinking a weak warrior would agree. Plus I think in the older games (Midway) it’s confirmed while he is devoted to the Lin Kuei, he still had somewhat a rebellious attitude especially with the Grandmaster but still respected him. MK1 seem to change that aspect of Bi-Han and he seems to be more open to the idea of a Cyber Lin Kuei or at least more open to use modern technology to boost the clan power as I think in intros with Shang Tsung Bi-Han still showed disgust of his experiments and lab. Plus I think in the DLC the suits are made to be more like enhancements not lead to a full on automation.

Snow blind is honestly pretty good for its own apocalyptic story. Johnnys movie was predictable but it's also watchable. The only disappointing one for me was battle of the realms but I honestly recommend the other two.

Yes and no, bi-han is the original Sub-Zero until he's murdered. Resurrected as a revenant ninja known as noob saibot shedding the names/title of sub-zero. Bi-han brother Kauai Liang (aka tundra) learns of his brother's death take on his title as Sub-Zero vowing revenge on those responsible.
