I am new to the union...2 years in. The contract is up for negotiations, and when asking the dhop steward about the process, he informed me that he is not being included in negotiations this time, for the first time in 25 years. Basically, something is off this time around, any thoughts on why they wouldn't include the shop steward in negotiations?

I’m a steward but I do not get support from my union representatives it seems like they the union representatives support the company not the staff. I ask for training but I get nothing!
