Usually, you are meant to legalise the highest qualification but then, in Portugal, as a PhD student, you have 100% opportunity to apply for FCT SCHOLARSHIPS, of which about 90% of people are benefitting or have benefitted. So for you to have high chance of getting the scholarship, you have to get ur Bsc and MSC legalised

Hello Bayobi. I have gotten a spot into Uni of Algarve and I've been asked to conclude my admissions for my master program by making some initial payments which I'm doing. I didn't legalize my documents or do authentication at the MoE or MOFA. Can I go just ahead and apply for my student's visa at the Embassy of Portugal without all these authentication process ?

Thanks @Chioma for your quick response to her. Congratulations to you. I'm so happy that you were admitted. For visa processes, you will still have to take your documents to MoE and MoFA for authentication,b fore you then take it to embassy for VERIFICATION. Embassy will surely verify it the result even if you don't want to legalise your doc. But then it's still same process that you would undergo. But for those who had already done that earlier (that is, if its not more than 6months), they would just apply for their visas without stress. But then, remember that Algarve will still request for the legalised doc

Haba! I already hv a video on that. First of all, ur transcripts and certificate would be authenticated at ministry of education and foreign affairs in Abuja. Then you now take d doc to d embassy for verification/legalisation but you must book an appointment online for you to do that at the embassy. I hope you understand this now

If all the processes ( verification) have been done, legalisation is done within that very day
