If the Parent, let's say father (deceased) owns this asset and he has only two childs , a son and a daighter ....then son would get 1/2 of this ( 5 lakh) and daughter would get half the son would get (half of 5 lakh 2.5 lakhs) and mother would get 1/8th amount of total
