It's a shame that lawyers charge so much money people are forced to look for other options. I'm being told the state I live in a living trust could cause anywhere from 5000 to 8000 insane.

Why do we complain about a Lawyer charging to perform complex services and don't complain about the cost of a heart transplant? Client to client there are about a hundred steps to record, monitor, defend, validate and certify a crime free inheritance and legacy wealth transfer to avoid Estate Plan forgers, Trust counterfeiters, and quit claim jumping titled deed thieves, Grantors Prebate Nickel, or Grantees Probate Dime is a fair price to avoid the Legal Zoom and Estate Plan crime and Litigation Quarter. Our parent's estate cost a million in litigation fees because we used an Estate Planner instead of an Administration Lawyer.

This video is all over the map. He's an attorney who refused to review a " clients" document but he did read some of it. What attorney turns you away especially if this is his specialty? Isn't that a part of his job to help those in need. He didn't want to take the clients money but he post her situation. If you see something, say something. I didn't clearly get his reason for this post, other than all states are different (no kidding) , review your first page and do not call him because he won't help

You either didn't listen or didn't understand. People who generally use legal zoom and then realize its not what they were hoping for dont want to pay more money for an actual attorney to provide a more thorough answer and product. It would of been a waste of his time to review the document because she wouldn't be willing to pay 4 times the price to have it done properly. Thats why people use legal zoom in the first place. They are cheap or don't have money.

She just needed 30 minutes of his time to ensure a homestead exemption. This guy is an a-hole

💰 Greedy salesman lawyer. This advise costs 5 minutes of his time. Here it is for FREE: Incorporate this into your Trust Deed "The Grantor hereby declares that the property located at [Property Address] shall be transferred into the [Name of Trust] and that the Grantor retains a present possessory interest in the property. The Grantor, as Trustee, retains the right to occupy and use the property as their principal residence, thereby maintaining the property's eligibility for the homestead exemption under Indiana law. This transfer shall not affect the Grantor's right to claim and receive the benefits of the homestead exemption."

Curiously, why are you making quotation signs when referring to the attorneys at Legal Zoom?

Can you recommend an estate planning lawyer in the North Dallas area?

7 minutes and 53 seconds that can be resumed to : 1- what you get is what you pay for. 2- Louisiana has a lot of trenches and Paul is in the middle of it. 3- somebody needed help but nah… too many trenches..not enough dough Why this 4 years old nonsense gets picked up by KZbin algorithm to top the searches on legal zoom and trust beats any common sense.

Company? You mean you liquidated all public accounts and your a trust fund guy that probably set up a shell company.and the everyday worker pays for you to live.

My brother's lawyer sent the Will and threatening letter in response to my lawyer's threatening to freeze assets & remove estate trustee, certificate of pending litigation. it's not easy sending e-digital format. I feel I'm doing a lot of work - guiding them with input discovery. The nephew (a beneficiary) & his wife want a copy of the Will. Is it safe to send it to them? What kind of trouble can they get up to with copy of the Will? The brother - soon to be removed as Executor - isn't on speaking terms with them & won't send them the Will. As in, the nephew talks big, says he wants to start his own legal challenge. If he does that it may disrupt my claim now in the works.

Paul. You fail to understand the woman in your example. Going through a lawyer to setup a basic trust will cost $3000 because lawyers are ridiculously expensive. So she did the reasonable thing and found online help to draft a trust, and she now needs 30 minutes of your time to help establish a homestead exemption. Sounds like you are naive. It’s about the cost! 😒
