My earphone's cable accidentally hit this video. At first, I cursed. I was listening to Cladun's "You're A Treasure," and it suddenly cut to this when it was getting good. But then I gave this song a chance. It's now one of my favorites of all time along side the other song.

for any wondering, the localized name is Grief of the Ancient Machine

Seems the actual name of the song is indeed 嘆きの Ancient machine (Nageki no Ancient Machine.) This translates to something more along the lines of "Lament of the Ancient Machine" (which really fits the theme of Legasista) rather than simply "Ancient Gear." Anyway, I'll admit it completely blew my mind when I try out this random very unknown little game and suddenly, wham, Itou Kanako right there on the title screen with it playing all the way through uninterrupted a very nice and catchy song.

When I got the game way back when on a complete whim and heard that song come on I thought "this couldn't possibly be some random unknown game that not only isn't AAA but really is almost downright indie actually with Itou Kanako singing a song that isn't even part of any official album or anything." But you just can't mistake her voice even if you try. It's her, and it's good and those are facts. Much better than the game was to be honest. :-P

Yeah, I also enjoyed the gameplay and music, but for a nisa game, the end-game content is too little. In my opinion there needs to be more variety like Disgaea, but it's overall really fun. Could have been more better if the classes and energy frames had more potential. There are a few bugs here and there, but it's not too bad. I couldn't follow on with the story, it was just way tooo short.
