9:42 So how exactly did he turn over his top grade 4 on his g-zone when Vortex swung at his opponent's vanguard? I don't see anything in the rule book about a "g-flip". I thought that after you've used a grade 4 (whether its a stride or guard), it enters back to the side of your g-zone face-up, and then from there, you can use those cards for g-breaks. Just asking in case that was a mistake or not, it looks like a mistake from my perspective and i want to verify that. And if that was an intentional rule-change made on your part before the fights we saw even began, then idk if that was made clear at the beginning of the video or not and idk if I'm the only person who even caught onto that if that was the case. And if that was supposed to represent the g-unit that was on the vanguard circle, what he could've done maybe (if that's even legal) is that before his turn ends when he's placing the card back by the side of the g-zone, he could've placed it face-down rather than face-up, implying that he already used its g-break cost. Granted, i don't believe its legal, but as far as homebrew rules go, that would make more sense execution-wise. That way, you aren't unnecessarily placing a second g-unit face-up for free once the turn ends.

(in Game 2 after Alfred Holy Saver turn) you can't use berserk lord skill because your vanguard is grade 3 and the skill is active is your vanguard is grade 4

I think what you’re trying to say is “Does pay cost always mean pay counterblast” The answer no. Costs can be discarding cards, soul blasts, soul charges, counter charge, retiring units... Costs are literally anything that specifies “in order to use this ability you must do something first”

On the second game he did not use vortex desire skill properly the amount you are going to retire is how much dragon units is in the soul so he has to retire 2 rearguards

That is incorrect. Vortex Desire does not say anything about the skill requiring a specific number of cards in soul.
