I believe those are tail lights/running lights, not brake lights. I'm glad to know that though, a nice feature when running at night.

I think they could handle it. Its not so fast that it will get out of hand easily and you can crank it down to a slower speed setting to start out. Its also pretty tough for the price. Iv beat it up a lot and haven't broke anything. Comes with easy USB charger.

Yea it's tricky at first. It's like they only go in one or two sequences. I can try and send you a image or quick video of how I put them in. It's a tight fit even when putting on the clamp down cover

yea its kind of hard idk if ill be much help but my dad got me one yesterday for my bday and this morning i found out how. it comes with a little spare connector you can connect both batteries you need to put both of them flat and then you should be able to put the clamp cover on then you should be ready to go

I’m not happy I ordered this. They had it saying it goes 68 KM and it doesn’t. My top speed was only 45 KM with the two batteries

I have run it both ways. I have noticed no difference in performance (other than run time) between using one battery or two.

Hi Glenn. I assume you are referring to the camera I had placed on the car towards the end? That is a Sony FDR X3000. Its a little bit of an older action cam by Sony but it still holds up to some of the newer GoPros. A bit smaller too!. The footage didn't come out very crisp in this one because the mounting bracket i attached to the top of the car body had come a bit loose. Which is why you see a lot of the vibration, causing a bit of blurriness. definitely not the cameras fault!

Do you use both batteries or just one while driving it . Whenever I press the power button on the rc it just turn the front lights on and not the light on the side

Don't go by how cool it looks, They do not last long they are made out of crap, All these things do is break, figured I bought a lemon so I bought another one and the same thing happened to the other car, you get what you pay for!

Yeah some of the parts are. Not sure about all of them. If you go to the legend website they actually sell a lot of spare/replacement parts for the truck at decent prices. One thing to be aware of is the wheel hex nuts. Id recommend making sure you tighten them up before each run. I forget sometimes and have had a few loosen and fly off during driving lol. So I bought some spares.

Right on! Its a neat little truck and it comes with everything you need right out of the box to fire it up and bash.

@@blakklightn3n310 I guess it depends on what you want out of it. Its not going to be a speed demon flying at 30+mph speeds. Not nearly on the level of like a 3s Lipo truck or anything. But quick enough for smaller areas of pavement or dirt or mowed grass or SNOW if you watched my other video on this truck lol. You can turn down the speed setting and let the kids or friends play with it and not worry about them losing control! I have run it fairly hard and haven't managed to break anything yet so its pretty tough for the price range. When its on sale for $160 for the whole package id say that's a good deal. The lights are cool and bright. Radio works fine. Feels solid. And you don't have to go out and buy batteries as they include two of them! What other cars were you looking at?

Debating on this one or a different one. I thought it says you can't put over on if you install 2 batteries. How are you able to put the cover on? Any update ok how its still doing?

Hello there. Mine is still running fine! I'm not sure where it was said that you cant get both batteries in. They say you can use both on their website for longest run times. The batteries are tricky to get in especially the first couple try's. They only fit in there a certain way and it is somewhat of a tight fit. Once you figure out how to place them and get the connecting wires routed, you can get the battery cover on no problem. Maybe I will make a quick video on how I put them in since you aren't the first person to ask.

@@FalcoINC yes, please do. I was looking towards this one because of that feature. It says it somewhere, either description or question that if you use 2 batteries you have to use the strap to hold it down and can't put cover on.

the reason they have brushed motors isn't because they're being cheap. brushed motors have more torque.

Honestly i thought they used to say 40 or 45km as top speed. I'm going to try and dig out the box and see what mine says. If anything I would say I was slightly under the rating on my box when I tested it. Ill go see what mine says as I thought it was 40-45km or something around there

Hmm, I guess it would depend on the 4 year old and if they have any previous experience with RC cars or not. You may have to help with some of the initial setup, battery charging/fitment, but as far as driving I think you could put it on the low speed mode starting out in a nice open area and I think they could pick it up fairly quick. Its pretty durable as long as you dont ram it full speed into hard objects but that should be obvious to adults lol. Id say the most difficult part for a 4 year old would not be the driving but the process of how your supposed to turn everything on and hook up the battery wires and things like that.
