God that Juggernaut spell SUCKS!! One of the toughest non-optional RPG bosses of all. The first time through this game, I had to get lucky and not get hit with the Juggernaut spell in order to finally win this one. :) In later plays I found the better equipment, not to mention Horn, and was able to (barely) survive it if he used it. But damn.

This is such an amazing battle.. The wonderful music and Cort's overall godliness (including his overwhelming attacks and how he just floats there looking all cool) makes struggling throughout this harsh game to get to this point completely worthwhile.

Hell, what am I saying? The whole game was emotional. There's still nothing (IMO) that can compare to it today. As theTAINTEDivory said, this game needs to be remade. I wonder how it would fare on today's market? Speaking of modern, I liked Legaia 2, but not nearly as much as Legend of Legaia. Here is not the place for a review-length comment however.

Yes that is precicely what the evil medallion does, we cant control him but he could go for an unlimited chain of attacks, it jsut varies.

@theTAINTEDivory I consider that to be true of several of the PSX's RPGs. Legend of Legaia, Grandia, FF9, Chrono Cross to name just a few. The stories ad characters were so intriguing; the graphic designers just needed a few more years to catch up.

I have a love-hate feeling for that evil medallion- I love it when the wearer just goes full rage mode and launch a combo of attacks that stops who knows when. I hate it when shit happens-just one attack or none at all-just runs towards the target then just stops. Fffuuuuck!

yo to ASephiroth you got yourself in trouble when you put vhan in craze mode and using evil medallion fool. why ever you did that?. evil medalion's use is just design in inventory, not suppose to be use unwanted. i tell ya this, when vhan ever got enough AP in craze mode he attack so much, but if he got none, he slacks. so it is not recommended for long tough battles. i beat cort in just lvl31 and in just about 18 turns.
