I have no idea how the "duodenum" pun translated so well ("It that because there's two of them?"), but that was so funny! This episode really showed off Polka's wittiness, thanks for the translation!

I had to look that up but the Japanese word for duodenum is a direct translation of the Latin intestīnum duodēnum digitōrum (12-finger-width intestine). So really in Japanese she says 12 instead of 2, but duodenum actually means 12 we're just more familiar with the "duo" part hence the translation!

@@ノシ-z7r Yup that's right! That part stuck out for me since I'm a total nerd for Latin. For anyone who's confused why deci -> denum: it's similar to how was -> were.

I would love to watch Polka meet different professionals on this show sometimes, for interviews or demonstrations of their skills! I think that's a great idea

Ah yes a ninja who sneaks up behind you to give you a deadly foot massage. Love that Suzuki-san had his own 3d model.

There is an art to comedy. The great physical comedians like the Marx Brothers, The 3 Stooges, Chris Farley, and Buster Keaton all had the wonderful talent to not just be funny, but quick of wit and the ability to make the mundane things in life absurd and funny. Polka has that same energy, connection to the audience, quick wit, and most importantly, comedic timing. I loved every second of this!
