I think it's better to be fishing thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about fishing.
@EyeOfTheVeda5 жыл бұрын
I think so too. In india the yogis tell a story about that actually. Two friends are walking down the street and one wants to go to the temple and the other the brothel, and they both talk it over and one goes to the brothel and the other to the temple to listen to the guru. So then they are there and the one at the temple is listening to the guru but really thinking that they wish they were at the brothel. The one at the brothel was thinking that they wished they were at the temple! They both die suddenly at that moment at the same time. The one who went to the brothel goes to heaven, but only because his last thoughts before he died were that he was wishing he was at the temple listening to the guru. Make of it what you like I just felt like sharing it

@@RenegadeRaveArchives Fair enough. You will be surprised, but I was talking about another dragon from Burg Frankenstein. In germany this legend is known too. When I heard this story, the first thing that popped in my head is that this is a much embellished story of an encounter with a (or many) Wels Catfish. Today they are known to reach hundreds of pounds in weight. Larger than a man, and have been reputed to have attacked swimmers. I can only imagine in medieval primordial European rivers these must have reached mythical size, worthy of many a warning song. Or maybe it really was a monster of some kind. Certainly possible. Robert, another idea for a future video... The "serpent" eating a man pictured on the company logo or badge for the auto maker Alpha Romeo.

Robert, while you were in california you should have done a video on Morro Bay Rock, which has both Chumash and Salinian Native American legends describing a giant serpent that coiled around the rock while a raven and a hawk attacked it. The serpent was destroyed into a million pieces which turned into tiny black rattle snakes. People reported seeing the snakes around the rock up until the great wars.

Great story and information. I remember the Movie " The Lair of The White Worm " It touches on this story a great deal. and I love the song at the end credits., Could he of just tied a criminal or chicken to a post and killed it after he killed the worm?
@jeplica70112 жыл бұрын
I mean technically, isn't he the criminal for relocating and introducing an invasive species to the town water supply, and impacting the lives and well-beings of everything in the ecosystem and then attempting to scapegoat and escape accountability, practice sacrificial death magic and manipulate soul and destiny switcheroos, and premeditated murder of the favorite dog even after ruining the ritual. I'm kinda siding with the worm here,. Looking at the long term effects of humanity in the environment, perhaps they need a unpassable regulator. And now I'm seeing that perhaps the worm is actually unchecked humanity,,. Ugh. This perception 😖. Ivermectin might be in order
