I have to admit, even for a Zelda game, this was a pretty good twist. The mask wasn't just something that channeled evil in the person that wore it, but the mask even had a will and personality of its own. Obvious, but a good plot device to finish off the game and gave us a spectacular boss battle.

Dishwater well don’t get me wrong the moon in 3ds is creepy but it wasn’t even close to the n64 version but when I saw Majora entering the moon I almost crapped my pants as an kid but nowadays I’m not scared of the moon anymore but the Moon from 3ds looks like Nintendo’s version of Shrek

@@gnc623 There's evidence for it in the ending scene. You can see how the skull kid feels guilty for "betraying" his friends. However, the Guardian Deities understood that it was the Mask doing it and forgives the skull kid. You can see him shaking(implying that he's crying) cause he thought he had hurt them so badly that they wouldn't forgive him

I thought the creepiest part was when the mask talks for the first time. It just gets me when it talks and there is still the happy music going and then it stops when the faries realize that its the mask talking and not the skull kid. Plus the first time it talks there is a subtle but noticable howl of the wind.

@DCombz This is what made it far greater than Ocarina of Time. The game is far darker and deep than OoT, and actually makes you feel for the characters around you, even if they are all just part of the game. Playing OoT just felt like a standard 'save the world' kind of game (though definitely one of the best games of its kind). Majora's Mask made far more of an impression to myself and no doubt many more

4:36-4:50 freaked me out. The way skull kid hovered like a puppet, and then the mask let go of him and he dropped onto the ground like a limp doll. It really makes me think about how the mask had no respect for living things, especially something as innocent and childish as skull kid was. Probably one of the freakiest parts of this game.

If you notice, after he says if its something that can be stopped, then try to stop it. He makes a crack sound. I zoomed in and found out the skullkid was trying to take off the mask when when he screamed. After calling the giants, you actually see him trying to dettach the mask for 5 seconds and then screaming.
