When it comes to power gohan could easily beat Kid buu, only issue is predicting Kid buu's movements is hard to do. Which is why this kid buu is more dangerous than the other Buus. Also how fast he regenerates too, so it's a matter of time and how fast Gohan finishes him off in one shot. Stalling will lead to Gohan drained and Kid buu would win.

Gohans got the edge on all the non fused fighters at the end if DBZ by a lot. Goku is a better fighter, but Kid Buu is much weaker than super boo, and ssj3 Goku struggled with fat boo. But while Goku could only stall fat boo for a moment the much stronger Super Boo is toyed with by Gohan. Though his arrogance ruined it. Even SSJ2 Vegeta put up a bit of a fight against Kid Buu.
