Petri Opa's Audi S1 quattro is a very accurate replica of the car Hannu Mikkola drove in the 1986 Monte Carlo Rally.
Countless hours have been spent on this car. I have received help from Hannu Mikkola, Juha Kankkunen, and Audi Sport in realizing this project. This five-cylinder beast packs a whopping 620 horsepower, Petri Oppa says.
You could definitely recognize the S1 when driving it. And there aren't huge differences compared to the factory car, Hannu Mikkola says.
