All the bottles that are falling out and down the hill makes me so sad. There are so many people who would love the little bottles, and smalls. There are plenty for so many people, who love to collect those kinds of items, it's a shame that there are so many rolling down the hill breaking on rocks and on other bottles, its literally breaking my heart. You are a very very lucky dude!

Thank You. I got my ass kicked up there today. That big wall caved in after I got right to the layer I wanted to dig in. Now it has like 2 full truck loads of dirt on it I am going to have to go shovel off. I found a cool little ceramic doll today and some arrowheads so not a total loss. And thanks for always watching.

I attached one of my old potato rake heads to an old extendable pruning saw handle. It's a pain to haul around but it comes in handy. Please be careful, no bottle is worth dying over. You need a digging buddy, that way you can take turns moving the tailings out of the way.

Rocks do you ever dig a dump, and run into a clay layer then dig past it and find more stuff? Or is that usually the end of the layer
@rockscousteau
@rockscousteau 4 жыл бұрын
It all depends man....just on the dump. Some of the older layers do have a clay cap....or dirt on them. The best thing for you do do is buy a digging probe. This is the situation you will need one. Instead of digging through and clay cap......you will know if the stuff is there prior....if you probe it. It saves a lot of digging.

@muddyh2os131 4 жыл бұрын
Awesome, still killin' it, can you share how you clean your bottles? Thanks
@rockscousteau
@rockscousteau 4 жыл бұрын
Well.....it just depends....but I do it all by hand....and usually with wire coat hangers......metal rods like that ....that you can bend. Then cut scour pads into pieces and insert them in the bottle...and use the wire to scrub the inside........You can sharpen the ends of the coat hangers or wires as well...."I have one with a needle tip/////a tip like a screwdriver...........little tools like that. You can use them to scrape the deposits of the inside....or loosen them up. You want to also soak them if they are really dirty before you Some bottles will not come clean. It is just a reality.....I just pretty much go to the dumps with the best bottles. You know some dumps have good stuff....but it is all burnt up........I just dig around on one place....then another....then another. And I just stay on the places that are hot-spots.....and have bottles that will clean up that I can show in videos. I have heard you can use like some acids from home depot...and it will clean any bottle spotless. But I have not tried that.
@rockscousteau
@rockscousteau 4 жыл бұрын
