@@jberrocalucf All you have mentioned really isnt worth as much as it may sound. What is quite more relevant is your experience you gain while actually working. All companies know that and will make you an offer accordingly. I personally know people here in germany who have a college degree and problems getting a good job, while top I know others who just went to some school or worked for a company to get something equal to a tradeschool degree and they actually get the jobs people are dreaming here to get, like for our car manufacturers. I am not saying the college degree isnt worth anything, but not as much as people think. The best IT guys are not ones who hold a degree, because they have a degree, it is the guys who actually had an deep interest in IT from childhood. They are the ones making an actual difference. Also, the actual knowledge in technology is not at universities, it is in the companies. That is why work experience tops college degrees. People can hate it, but it is, what it is.

100%. Taller does not mean bigger Destiny. Taller man can be skinny with no muscle mass so yeah a 5.5 foot muscular guy can beat the hell out of 6.2 skinny man. Men by and large has more muscles mass and strength than women. I am not sure why is Destiny arguing over a biological fact that you not going to defend a biological women army from a biological men army. So yes Andrew is 100% correct, you are going to need men to protect any rights be it patriarchy or matriarchy. Another point is remove all men from the army and police and put all women in place and I want to see how safe destiny will feel given all weaponry and power to women. Just for one hypothetical day they should try that. Destiny is clearly arguing in blind faith and ignoring biological fact. Men do not just have testosterone without a reason, they have those hormones to get some jobs done effectively. A hammer is far more efficient in banging the nail than wooden stick doing the same. Yes it can get the job done in 10 days while hammer can do it in 10 seconds.

I dont get why Destiny is acting too dumb to understand what Andrew is saying. The enforcement arm is what creates the bubble of security in which we can live and speak freely. Without that bubble, there will be the strongest survives. It really isnt that hard to understand. In math we make clear distinctions between some and all. In order for needing an enforcement arm, you just need some people to not play by the rules. For not needing an enforcement arm, we would need all people to play by the rules and that is simply not going to happen. There is selfishness, mental illness and whatsoever keeping us far away from all playing by the rules.

Destiny has to act dumb and defend it. If Destiny admitted to what Andrew was saying, his entire ideology would fall apart. He would have to admit we need men more than we need women, and that would undermine too many of his root concepts. Not much is stronger than a man trying to hold onto their ideologies. It's amazing to me that people still don't seem to get Andrew's point. I've recently discovered Andrew Wilson and I've been watching a lot of his debates, but so far the only person who has been able to understand him (or at the very least not PRETEND as if they don't understand him) is Farha. Farha at least had the humility to say that she hadn't considered Andrew's point enough and wanted to schedule a future talk with him after she reflected on it more. Everyone else has either not understood his point or pretended to not understand it...and that includes Destiny. I know Destiny is too smart to not have understood what Andrew was trying to say about the monopoly of force. So everything after I realized that point was just Destiny incorporating rhetoric tactics to try and win when he couldn't win on merit. It's so simple to understand... Any society is necessarily going to need to exist on a basis of laws. Without laws, you have anarchy. And without the enforcement mechanism of law, then the law is meaningless. Men have the monopoly on force. You can have a system where 90 percent of lawmakers are women, 90 percent of judges are women, 90 percent of lawyers are women...but at the end of the day without police, military, baliffs, and guards..,you don't really have any law. And the difference is...all those intellectual positions, men are not handicapped from performing, but women ARE handicapped in all those other positions. Andrew is not advocating we live in a society of brute force and "might makes right" type ethics. He's simply giving a description of reality where you can PRETEND that an egalitarian is ever possible, or you can live in reality and understand that we will ALWAYS (by rule) be living in a patriarchy where men allow women rights and privileges. Destiny wants to debate on what makes for the best, top tier societies versus the middle to bottom societies. That's fine, but that's still secondary AFTER the point you understand that without laws and security, everything else is meaningless if you don't FIRST have those things to function.

Japan on the other hand is different. What would happen if boatloads of immigrants decided to land in Japan? Those "tiny men" that you described would not allow it, by whatever means they deem justified. It's not whether men are super strong and 6 feet tall, it's men collectively that are the enforcement arm of society
@ethansy2978
@ethansy2978 Жыл бұрын
youre missing the point. Yes, the enforcement arm is necessary for any country, Destiny agrees with that, but its not anymore a main marker of success in a nation. Nowadays we look at quality of life, health care, economy, safety, and equality as measures of success. Why? Because a country can have a police force of mostly men, and still be a dangerous shithole. Look at the US for example, it has the most powerful enforcement arm in the world. But do immigrants migrate to the US for that? or do they do it for economic opportunities? Is the US applauded for its policing, or is that one of the things its criticized for the most? Its enforcement arm is 80 percent male yet it has a high crime rate and an extreme amount of mass shootings. This whole enforcement arm argument is such a shallow and narrowminded assessment of society. The only time this would be relevant in is in times of desperation in war. Men dont need to be the ones to lead most things today. @@ratedrrr

It makes no sense to connect rising suicide levels with rising masculinity (because it's actually dropping). It's also obviously not the hyper masculine men killing themselves. @zerority2k he's saying men use their intuition when rearing their children on which emotions need to be checked and which ones need to flourish. Everyone is different, and has different needs; this includes their psychological make up. The point was lost on destiny because he thought Andrew wanted a quantitative answer when there isn't one to answer the question. The qualitative answer would and usually is a case by case scenario. Some children have excessive aggression which needs to be self reflected and have learned behaviors to control it. Some children need more ambition so they have a drive to succeed in life to their own goals. It is 100% intuitive from a parent on how to cater to the needs of your children. There isn't a set standard for how to raise a child to be a high functioning adult with zero issues. This is true even when adding outside variables into the problem, i.e. bullying.

Andrew seems to be the only sane one on this panel. I keep on hearing how evolved our society is today vs the past. It kind of sounds like the same rhetoric we read in history books on great nations. Although we may have advanced in modern day society, it is never out of the question that our society being decimated to a point destitute. Palestine during the early 1920 was a prosperous nation with a thriving economy and infrastructure. That all changed due to war. Venezuela, after the discovery of black gold, was another prosperous country that turned 3rd world. The introduction of AI technology does not prevent great nations from reverting back to mid-evil times. If anything, it makes a nation much more prone to emp. So the need of strong men becomes more important than ever. This is probably why a man who is not only strong but also smart is at the top of the food chain.

This is anecdotal but Jubilee did a video where they took. I think 5 or 6 people had them wrink each other and then took an IQ test to see how it all matched up. One of the ladies put herself in the top 3. Because she had a master's degree and worked for a biotech company. She put another guy at the bottom because he was a marine. When the tests came back, the marine was in the top 3 and she was at the bottom for IQ. So just because you have a degree or education does not mean you're more intelligent than someone who does a physical job.

1) Dude destiny lost this debate. Dude was using strawmen like he was tryna build a fucking haystack. 2) Angela doesn’t understand that men still uphold the general infrastructure and enforcement that makes women comfortable. Women aren’t doing the jobs that uphold the infrastructure, so idk why she keeps mentioning the “past” when women still aren’t doing it. 3) Andrew won, but he needs to tag Sartain’s argument more with his cause Michael did the best job with at least bringing the gap so everyone can understand each other’s point. The infrastructure point that Michael was making at first is arguably the most important aspect to Andrews point, and he wanted downplay it at first, until he needed it. 4) Malek at least understands the common sense point better than Angela did which was surprising. The true underdog here was honestly Michael. Without him, everyone is kinda just missing the fucking point

28:33 This is the entire point... you're an independent boss chick, until your AC goes out, or the power goes out, or the internet goes out, or your water is cut off/contaminated, or there is no more gas/oil for your car. Very few women work in industries that support these baseline necessities. Furthermore, if men banded up and decided to physically enforce womens' removal from the workforce (not advocating it, just positing a scenario) there aren't enough strong women to outmuscle the men. EDIT: 31:09 exacto. And no, the majority of women cannot work these jobs. They aren't building the roads, they aren't working on oil rigs, they aren't powerline workers. Ask Red Pill Thor, a powerlineman, women rarely make it in the job
