This game is fantastic. It is definitely a crime that you are only getting to it now. It is one of the best "older" solo games.

The core game shows its age with packaging and the insert. It’s certainly not ancient otherwise but it’s starting to show its age in ways. :)

The Encounters is vastly superior to the basic Legendary series, imo. You feel the pressure of the enemies come at you when they enter the combat zone. Better than them just walking off the board.

The tension and pressure is fits perfectly for an Alien based game. :)

I've had this for five years and play it periodically, it is really immersive and follows the theming of the films. The rules are made so that your first couple of p!ays you can play along with them, after that, you won't need them. That's one of the beauties of this game, easy to pick up. I wouldn't recommended true solo as there's a coordinate mechanic that can be the difference between life and death. I always play two handed solo, this works well. Difficult to beat, but when you lose, you inevitability see where you went wrong. The expansion is equally as good, but the missions slightly more difficult. One of my all-time favourite games.

Love this game and the theme. Also have the Predator one. Only just realised the art on the Apone sergeant card is wrong. He actually doesn’t have the cigar in his mouth when he gives Hudson the finger.

Just bought this game. I love the Marvel legendary which my friend owns and watched a couple play through's of this game and I think I will love it more. Have you played it and what do you think? I bought the base game and the expansions so I imagine I will have plenty of playtime coming. Thanks for your Video.

This is fun one for solo play! I recommend it :) Even more if you're a fan of the Alien movies.

I love the game got it when it came out and still play it now. One thing you should know before playing solo. When playing the first film Alien solo, it's not in the rules and was added later by the developer. You must play a fight card with coordinate on it to defeat Ash.

baredas The Ash card itself only mentions that someone else must coordinate with you with an attack. Originally when people asked about solo play the original answer was you must play two decks for Alien. Later it was changed to what I stated above.

Sucks only 2 expansions I think maybe 3 but one adds the ability to play the queen I really wish they’d add the other pred/alien movies have you played the pred one? Technically two games movie one and 2 as the humans and the other half is movies one and two playing as the pred but if you have the queen expansion you can aliens vs pred vs human

I haven't played the Pred one yet. That's pretty cool! I believe I heard that somewhere at some point.
