​@@SomniaticaI understand the why of some of the moments, so regarding the lyrics, what if you used "consort" instead of lover, since you can't use "husband"? For "man of the house", perhaps you could use "head of the house". And for "where is the man with whom you'll spend your life", instead of man, "where is the one" can work, like that you can you use a female voice and more fitting words (being Penelope's lover isn't the goal after all, it's marriage that is). I love singing and like writing lyrics, it's why I thought of this, sorry if the suggestion offend you.
