The grandpa was so lovely and lively and I can see his passion in serving people his Taiwanese food. I can see me in him when I always want the foreighners especially those who visit Cambodia for the first time to try our traditional Khmer food. He was trying to explain to you guys that the meat roll is traditional carried over since the old generation, then he did invited you to eat and told you that it is delicious. It was so funny when he tried to mimick the pig to tell you it is the pig organ and Daravy perfectly guess it correctly and another time when he said "come, come, I invite you both to eat." You have great communication skills! He also said it is hand rolled, not using machinery. He also said there is another smaller one when you pointed to the jicamas but I also don't know that word or what it is. He said jicamas are sweet. Well, I guess that is pretty much I could get out of the conversation. I would love to pay them a visit if I get to visit Taiwan.
