Curious about top investors' millionaire-making strategies, I'm eager to grow my $295,000 nest egg. Investing in stocks could provide attractive returns through capital appreciation and dividend yields. But timing is crucial - should I invest now or wait for improved market conditions

the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 90% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.

Invest for as long as you can in the S&P 500 ETF. As much as you can, do it. Let compounding do its thing and try not to take this money out. Put patience and a long-term outlook first. Most essential, take financial advice into account to make well-informed purchasing and selling decisions.

@@redpill-finance Honestly that's kinda nice to me. I was too young to buy houses in 2009, 2010, 2011 when they were so stupid & cheap. I have plenty of money to work with now that it's kinda crazy I'm in this position. I save a lot more than I spend but being nervous about where to put my money has me keeping it in my business and bank account. But when you really have assets like a triplex that I got through a tax deed sale here in California and you see how much the appreciation increases the worth of my home. Even my CAR a 2016 Honda Civic-EX which I bought for 13k in 2019 with 39k miles is now going for 17k with 51k miles now in 2024. ALL MY ASSETS ARE APPRECIATING and I have NEVER seen a depreciating asset like A USED CAR INCREASE IN VALUE, I think I honestly should sell off my asset's or something because I don't know if this amount of value I'm passively capturing is gonna stay with me. Especially if there's a down turn because I want enough cash or tradeables to purchase more homes.

Speak to a financial advisor, don't be afraid to hold cash and WAIT for the right opportunity to invest. Just because you have money doesn't mean you need to invest it. Knowing when to hold cash and then only invest when there is an investment worth taking advantage of is never discussed yet the primary skill. In other words simply because you have money doesn't mean it needs to be put to work immediately. If this is windfall for you learn and slowly put your funds to work.

For all the supposed polarization, the two candidates both seem perfectly aligned in the notion that they intend to borrow the US out of existence on essentially the same timeline and magnitude. Using a private citizens finances as a analogy of the US government debt misses one small detail. The US government can print money from nothing. Government debt is not equivalent to private debt. Its arguably not debt at all. It could be wiped out tomorrow, if the government so chose, however that would cause a time of inflation worse than anything the US has ever experienced. Joe private citizen does not have that option.

Once you bring government to 10 percent of GDP then the deficient will drop. That would be a 27 percent of GDP reduction. What value is brought with hundreds of thousand of government workers that produce about 8 hour of 40 a week in productivity. There has to be a ROI on the government spend and a business plan with well defined measurement of success. If i give you 100 billion there better be a minimum of 105 billion in benefit. What business could exist without at least a hurdle rate of return. Government needs to be held to the same standards.

Warren Buffett & Ted Weschler > PTJ. Both Warren and Ted said repeatedly, "Invest in a low cost index fund on the S&P 500 as early as possible and keep going, especially through thin times". American businesses are superprofitable, and the combination of high profit growth (around 7% a year in the US of A) and moderate interest rates makes sure the broad stock market will continue to rise, long-term. Of course, there'll be big setbacks like 2007 - 2009 where both the Nasdaq 100 and SPX lost > 50% of their value. But where are those indices today ? ;)

Look what the US equity market has done since then. I think debt simply doesn't matter ! Weird, and many economists would shake their head. It does matter, of course, on an individual corporate or company basis. But as long as US companies, by and large, are superprofitable, equity prices will reflect it.
