Yeah, the legendary skin should be released at the same time with the gun. In my opinion it's more motivating to grind with a nice looking gun than with the basic one. And as marketing management, it's more motivating for players to buy it when the new gun gets released. Yeah, for you is late, but I've purchased this skin because I didn't start yet grinding for it. And also it's a P2W and also one more step left to the prestige weapon.

I don't know it's true or not... Some leakers mentioned that the decision to give legendary for the previous season gun is people get used to gun so they can decide to go for a legendary or not depends on the gun (good or bad to use)..... That's why this delay... I don't know it's true...
